Your team vs Warriors

AD, get ready to join western Sydney with your new "Ute-ililty" tagline.
Join other WT alumini like Beau Ryan, Danny Galea and not too many other WT players.

It's a good idea. If Naden is fit, I would rather see him at wing. Otherwise Faataape in the center and AD shifted to the wing. Although I recognise this position change may ruin his performance.
I’d keep Douehi at centre and Staines to wing.

Or a Smokey - is Luke Laulili available?

Faataape to centre, Douehi to wing would cause the least disruptment to the squad that has won the last 3 games.

It's actually a really good attacking side, but still would rather Skelton play if he's up to it.
I dont mind Faatape attack wise at least but surely a winger for a winger is the least disruption...If we did say Satines for Skelton thats only one change

Douehi to wing and faatape to center is two

Im thinking Staines will go straight to the wing will be Benjis move...They say Luke L is right to go now but i dont think hes had a run yet even in reggies

This week, something to ponder is that we have beaten 2 teams with new rookie coaches and those teams have both gone 0-3 to start the season.

Discuss...

Rather put a winger on the wing. AD did the job for limited time in the last game but he's not a winger. In Naden was fit I'd be tempted to use him, but if not, it has to be Staines.

I read Sione has been taking some reps on the edge during pre-season. Bird is an option too. If either of them are moved there though, then the middle is weakened considerably. Next cab is Kit Laulilii and the Round 3 stats show he only played about 25 mins in reserve grade on the weekend. Not the prep you'd want to step up to first grade. Matamua is in third grade (Ron Massey Cup). Perhaps Benji will consider Latu in the middle rotation if he moves one of Sione or Bird onto the edge.

Otherwise, Porter or Sukkar are in. Tumeth hasn't played a game all season and was listed as 18th man for reserve grade. This was the fear we all had in pre-season, an injury or two and the depth falls away greatly in the forwards. Fingers crossed Samuela is fit! He has an extra day this week to be right.
Think it's time for Porter or Sukkar to stand up and show they are worth persisting with, they have trained all off season so surely they are ready for an opportunity in 1st grade at 2RF.
Yeah Bird I would leave on the bench, he has good impact as a replacement, interesting to see what Benji does if Sam is out.

Skelton’s hammy probably means he misses this weekend at a minimum; but that could be three or four depending on how bad the strain is. If I recall correctly Sam F has been carrying a bit of a niggle in an ankle so it is probably time to make a decision on taking a week off to get it right.

Either way, I think we need to be looking at using the "next man up" philosophy so that we aren’t disrupting combinations that are in their fledgling stage. For mine that probably should be Staines in for Skelton, Sione F in for Sam with Porter coming onto the bench. This approach would underscore Benji’s commitment to rewarding application and may server to strengthen our resilience and adaptability.

Apart from Staines and Porter 1-17 remains the same.

If he's been needled up week to week I agree get him off it for a game to see if it improves, think you and Iron Fist are right toss up between the 3 mentioned as to who starts there, that's why Benji is paid the big bucks.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'll be in Sydney this week and scored myself some free tickets to the Warriors game.
Any locals have some advice for the best way to get from Newtown to Campbelltown on a Sunday? Train?

Train to Luemeah station which is right out the front of the stadium.

Three Grades playing also from 1:30pm with Flegg, KOE and FG.

Is skelton definitely out?
Unconfirmed, but he will be.

Even the slightest of hamstring concerns, like calves, are usually treated with caution and will be subject to a fair testing protocol to make sure he's properly ready to return. They're one of main drivers of forward speed and particularly deceleration, so you lose all hip-based power.

Interesting to see the injury report. Best case scenario would be minor strain and 1-2 weeks imo, but take that with a grain of salt.

The Injury report had Naden back from round 5 or 6 so he is not going to be an option

Luke Laulili is available this week based off Moussa's video but agree he would be better served playing KOE or Flegg

Staines has pace and experience we can use

NRL Physio is a podcast that reviews the injuries from every game - they are all physios and they think Samuela will be ok for this week.
He was also climbing the stands after the game to see family and seemed to be manging that ok.

So that's a positive sign.

If it is indeed an mild ankle issue, they can usually be managed ok on the low end. Expect to see him in a moonboot for as long as possible this week in the lead up though.

(that's if it's ankle, afterall. I haven't heard that confirmed as of yet).

Staines has earned first-drop this season amongst the available options.

Agree
Except I would start with Porter as he has more minutes in his legs and leave Sione to keep being used the way he is, as I don’t think he’s up for long minutes at this stage.

I’m a retired railway worker mate,
So first thing I checked was both your required lines are open (no track work) Thank goodness 😅 You can stay on the train you get on at Newtown and it will go around circular quay and head out to Campbelltown
Takes around 70-80 minutes
Get on one of the rear carriages as it’s near the exit at Leumeah station.

Probably keeps the rotations the same that way as well. Like anything, use the KISS principle (Keep it Simple Stupid)
