Had a shocker but still not our worst

Definitely was our worse, offered nothing.

Could almost go as far as saying he cost us the game.

Has promise needs some more time in reggies now

I doubt he’ll be there next week with Talau due back ..
He was diabolical with catching.. but some of our more seasoned arm grabbers and playmakers need punting .

Obviously he had a shocker. The media attention got to him. He'll get another shot next week to redeem himself. Everyone else has, would be way too harsh to drop him after his great game last week.

I agree.

Had a shocker, but it's his second game.

I've seen Chris Lawrence early in his career and Kepaoa more recently have games like that.

Time will tell if he goes Lawrence's direction or AJ's.

Not one of his finer moments but the pressure really told tonight - he had no confidence and never looked likely under the high ball tonight and that's the difference between FG and KOE.

That's one of the worst games by a winger I've ever seen. Maybe Lipina Kaufusi played worse once? Maybe you give him another chance, but honestly I'm not sure.

Bad night for the kid hopefully he learns from it. A lot of hype during the week for an above average debut. He dropped an easy one to start and never looked like recovering. He’s got potential but is a work in progress.

Felt for the kid ... from the penthouse to the Dog house in a week..

Hopefully he can bounce back..

It’s not so much the mistakes from the rookies that are the problem, it’s the unwillingness of the team to defend them, to rise above the adversity they produce which makes the team not a team. If I was part of this team I would leave rather than offer up a paltry resistance.

I like him but he was the worst player on the park for us and the best player for them.

He needs to be dropped and given another chance after a couple of weeks of showing good form in reserves.

Who would replace him?

Talau. You could keep Cini there but I don't think that is the right option. Let him work on his game in reserve grade and give him another chance later in the season or next season.

I'm not writing him off.

agree give cini one more week and maybe put talau in for mmbye

IMO you can NOT pick him next week,

He will be bombed into the stone age immediately. You can so "so what, he gets a chance to make up for it"...but he had that chance after the 3rd or fourth chance today.

Let him catch bombs for a few weeks in KOE. We can not afford that in first grade.

So he defused 99% of bombs in KOE. And diffused everything last week no problems too. One game he got nervous after being in the spotlight. You'd have to be a psychopath to drop him, would have a major impact on his confidence.

Kepaoa dropped many bombs and still kept getting picked over the past year. Talau has also survived numerous poor games, as has Roberts. Cini should most definitely get another game to make amends, let's see how he faces adversity. Most of our players to into their shell and are mentally weak, let's eeeywhat this kid is made of. We need stronger characters in our squad.

Hopefully he'll be taking 1000 bombs in Training this week too to help calm the nerves too.

Agree with this.

Despite those bombs, I actually think he’s our most defensively sound winger.

Doesn’t rush in etc.

Needs another shot in the big time.

I totally agree. We need to rotate players until they don't get caught out. If they get caught out drop them and tell them they have to learn in reserve grade. Fix the problem and perform in reserve grade and you will get another chance.
