OFFICIAL Zane Musgrove [Discussion]

[The_Patriot]

You guys can have your JAC's and your other flashy players but this right here is our best signing.

This guy is the leader of our toughness. Gives us a real on field presence and strength.

Our JWH.

I agree to an extent, still think Tamou is a bigger signing but do think Musgrove will be great for Blore and Stefano. Real grunge and having that grit/hit en hard style will be great for the youth coming through as well.

I see him as more beneficial for the likes of Brooks. Liddie and Simpkins.

Tamou will be the guy helping the young fowards.

Stood up to the Melbourne pack on his own in our game late in the season. Good re signing and probably for good money too if he’s knocked back bigger deals

[Another Pom]

I'm happy with this one. We didn't get to see much of him last season, but when we did see him he looked mobile and powerful. Hopefully he can stay injury free this season and take his game to another level.

Our pack really excites me.

[Cultured_Bogan]

He was really unlucky getting hurt and copping such a long lay off.

Hopefully he stays fit next season.

[Speed2burn]

But Buzz said he wanted out

Great re-signing Tigers.

[Tweed_Tiger]

If I had to choose between a fit Musgrove and a fit Aloiai I would take Musgrove. I think its safe to say we have seen Aloiai's best as it was a contract year.

Musgrove really has a presence on the field, something we lacked even with Aloiai over the years.

[happy_tiger]

Excited to see what he can do in a 22+ games season ....hoping he can drag the best out of Mikaele as I see them competing for a spot in the squad

[WT2019]

Good re-signing, looking forward to seeing Musgrove injury free next season. Next up...TM.

TM?

[innsaneink]

Happy to hear this.... Lots of positive outnof the club lately... Gives me hope for next year

Thanks...was hoping Willow didn’t have some inside info on Tyrone May hahahahaha

[Geo]

People are getting very lazy with players names...

Can't wait for U Tonk A Man U to start belting blokes followed up by Musgrove

[rah53]

Awesome - so much for the 'whisper' that he might be next to want out.
Great to hear that you're staying on Zane!!

And who started that whisper?? The 1 & only West Tigers hater, Buzz Rothfield.

one of our few forwards that really bent the line last year

[hsvjones]

The best news is he could of got a lot more at Dragons but stayed here...
We have been working at building a culture where players want to play here and happy to stay for less money.... I just wonder when Buzz and the media will report on how great we have done this off season ... won't happen

[rah53]

Stick that up ya clacker Buzz!

His clacker is under his nose.

[rah53]

Rothfield on the phone when he clearly got is wires mixed up.?

Haha we have all had those days...

Speak for yourself. I don't get drunk. I get awesome.

[Tiger_Steve]

A lot of good judges are predicting Blore to have a break out year. This may be true. I reckon Musgrove will be there alongside him. I love his aggression. Him, Blore and Ofahengaue could be formidable.
Well done WestsTigers leadership. Kicking many goals lately.

Which reminds me.... goal kicker next????

[Cairnstigers]

This is exactly what we want
Players who want to be here at our club and play under Madge
Congratulations Tigers and Musgrove
I have a feeling that Musgrove is going to be a forward leader at out club for years to come
With Tamou on board hopefully those two can inspire the rest of our young forwards to dominate other packs in years to come
It all starts in 2021

[Russell]

Probably already been said but a 4 year contract is a big surprise. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but those lengths are usually reserved for marquee players. At the same time though, we couldn’t keep signing guys till the end of 2023.

Who has the 4 year contract besides Mbye?
