Mickey Mouse game. A proper City vs Country game would be much better and have more spice IMO.

Me too, I'm a fan of Kennedy.
I'm yet to go to one of these but it's on my bucket list.
I can't understand why members make comments to downplay this event. If you don't want to support Australian indigenous people in RL then that's ok, that's your right but don't spoil it for others who are proud of it, go to another topic...easy hey.

It's up to the nrl, promoters, players, broadcasters to talk it up. Fans on a forum have the right to say what they feel about the game.

Wow that’s a stretch just because I’m not overly excited by a game of football. It’s a mish mash of players having there first hit out for the year, they’ve used it to experiment with rules, they use to have to have a player from each club which I found forced. I think they’ve hit on the right concept now but it’s just not something that excites me.

Sure, I understand what your saying about they might not have the best players on show compared to the wider nrl player community.
Indigenous RL players are a minority group in this country and should be supported, that my opinion.
