Gotta have hope and I have more than usual with the changes that have been made.

Major overhaul of the footy department bar the head of coaching, though substantial change there as well with Cayless, Gardiner and Kimmorley's remit extended to working there to begin with. Defence will undoubtedly improve.

Then we look to our roster changes and even with the question marks over how they will perform, surely got to be better than those replaced and alluded change to lock role should help our attacking shapes as well.

I honestly have no idea how they'll go, there's a lot of question marks over a lot of players and the coaching. Shouldn't be too hard to improve from last year

Telegraph reporting the Raiders have signed Kelly Egan to replace Peter Mullholland as head of recruitment hope he does a better job there than he did at WT'S no hope he does for them what he did for us.

I read that and am greatly relieved he is with WTs. He looks an outstanding talent.

A wins a win. At the end of the season points on the table will be the only thing that matters. By rounds 6-8 we will know what the season looks like

I think we can get off to a good start winning 5 out of 8 then we will come crashing back to earth

Talking signing options, after watching most of the Maori vs Indigenous game, i was reminded of what a good player and great option Tapine would be for us. Not sure what his contract status is but he’s just what we need. I’m sure Ricky would never let him leave the Raiders though.

Another option... Nikora was strong from what I saw as well.
And the first try that David Fifita set up was ridiculous- the guy is a freak of nature. Hope he’s not playing whenever we have to face the Titans!

True, but hit his straps towards the end if last season as well. Step up to Captain’s role in that team says something as well. I like the way he plays- it’s the type of example that our young guys need to follow.

We’re doing alright. We just signed the most damaging forward of last season.

Tapine had a huge faling out with Ricky half way through last season, even Joe's misses blsted Ricky on social media.
