I'll go with what the other guys have listed in the other Melbourne storm v tigers thread save repeating, we'll beat them 26-18

I doubt that we will beat them in the penalty count,
I'm assuming that the 18 points for Melb. would all be from 9 kicked penalties.

think Simpkin can play 80, hes done it last year, test is if he can do it again and again
he can, but can he do it well is the question .. melbourne are good at targetting weaknesses and i'm sure they'll test his bung shoulder overtime

No silly, 18 field goals, our points come from 13 penalty goals. All points come from the first half and a scoreless second half. Riveting stuff.

Hahaha, i'm assuming the scoreless second half would be due to the heavy rain, right? sounds like a very exciting match, can't wait to watch it mate.😁

Good point Merlot. Offloads are a key element.
I don't think that's true anymore. Before they defended as structure, but now their scramble is just as good. I know Harry isn't playing this game but watch him in every defensive set, he just follows the ball "Just in case".. storm have built their attack and defence on numbers... There are always players around the ball, "just in case".

Not suggesting it’s easy to get through them just that structured footy is just not enough- they rarely fall off tackles or make errors.
I found myself watching the Storm a lot last season and noticed how differently Bellamy thinks and how they play compared to any other team. The guy is really good and is ahead of the game.
