I totally missed that we had a new logo, and only realised as I was watching the Storm game. The obvious change is removing the claws, and I also noticed they changed the tongue from red to orange, and the eyes from yellow to white. There’s probably some other changes I’ve missed. First impressions, I don’t like it… it looks simpleton. Maybe it’ll grow on me. They should take a leaf out of the old Balmain logo, and have the Tiger at an angle rather than front on.

The update helps with style guides too, it’s easier to put the logo (or an inverted/two-tone version of it) in media content.
A tweak that’s responded to modern demands. Fair.

I only just noticed because I live overseas and spend much less time than I used to following NRL content. I noticed as soon as I saw it. I find it strange that in this new era of digitalisation, we have to have more simplified logos. I would’ve thought technology would allow for more sophisticated logos. Going back to the Balmain logo, look at how much more detailed it was compared to what we have now.

I’m a fan. its cleaner and looks good across all merch. It could be bigger on the playing strip though

I finally got my M'ship stuff on Thursday, the hat looks ok for golf, but I'll be dead before that happens so don't care really. Cooler bag good for my missus knitting wool bag. Sticker on my letterbox, keyring for dog chain, prefer old logo.

Have a look at all the english soccer teams in all divs, have a look at nfl and baseball, most are compressive logos rich in history, do you think Manchester United would suddenly change their logo overnight, the supporters would burn the stadiums down, lets change St George logo to a small red cartoon dragon or the bulldogs to a poodle [that would be funny] or change the bunny to blue. We are constantly changing logos and playing strips, why?
Keep the logo and playing strip the same for generations to come so we can identify who we are, sick of this %*it
