Wests Tigers Logo..

Have a look at all the english soccer teams in all divs, have a look at nfl and baseball, most are compressive logos rich in history, do you think Manchester United would suddenly change their logo overnight, the supporters would burn the stadiums down, lets change St George logo to a small red cartoon dragon or the bulldogs to a poodle [that would be funny] or change the bunny to blue. We are constantly changing logos and playing strips, why?
Keep the logo and playing strip the same for generations to come so we can identify who we are, sick of this %*it
We lack culture, the mighty Magpie has gone, the big balmain tiger gone all to save on production costs regardless of what the members/fans want. [Pascoe said this!]
Yeh you'll get used to it but it will change again and again.

You might want to look into clubs histories, most clubs go though logo changes. What the Tigers did was not unheard of anywhere in the world. Even Manchester United

Sometimes these changes are well accepted, other times not. But all the club did was simplify the logo for the digital age while still keeping the essence of it. It wasn't as though the club went out and came up with a completely new design, it is still clearly the Wests Tigers logo.

And the changing of strips is purely a marketing move, change the jersey, sell more of them. It is all too common across most sports these days and is becoming even more so with many leagues changing their rules around designs (the EPL used to be 2 years for a home kit and 1 for away, but is now every year), and if they happen to be restricted to the number of changes they can make (like the NFL which only allows changes every 5 years) the teams along with the manufacturer and the league will have 3rd jerseys, or heritage jerseys, or some other program that allows for new designs to be released in-between or as an alternative to changing the main design.

It is just the way it is. So long as the general brand of the team is retained, then the changes to uniforms or tweaks to logos are fine.

Cheers, changed 11 times in 113 years. Approx average, once a decade ..although that goes in waves.

Yep, changes in technology, anniversaries, or owners tend to lead to changes.

The good thing is that the Tigers are currently on about par for that as well. 2 logo updates in 22 and a half years.

Well researched mate and just reinforced my point about changing name and logo to chase the dollar and not create history and a brand that would be recognised world wide.
Sponsors names can go on the shoulders and leave the front for us.
You won't change my mind, but made me more mad about the every changing logos and playing strips.
Change it up for special rounds like indigenous, ANZAC, women in league etc etc but keep the main jersey 'FOREVER'
