JAC has won a grand final, the others play in sides that have finished in the top 4. Moses has played Origin. Yet you seem to be arguing they aren’t better off than when they were here?
Yeah Moses carved up the Origin arena. He's played 1 game and in all likelihood won't play another.
So Aloiai played in a team that finished top 4 last year, did they get there on his back or Turbo's?
Not sure what the argument is....that Brooks would have more success if he went to Storm, Rabbitohs, Penrith, Roosters etc etc? That goes without saying you would assume?

Mate, I’m not sure what your argument is. You acknowledge their success but in every instance have a caveat. At the end of the day only die hard Tigers fans who aren’t objective will have those caveats attached. The rest of the RL world doesn‘t care and only sees them as going on to bigger and better things. And its a poor reflection on our club as a result.

Noddy on the money, he is scared of stuffing up and it makes him hesitate at the wrong time, when he doesn't hesitate it's because it looks premeditated. I don't want him to be Benji and throw the ball into the crowd every week, but he looks like he is overthinking his role.

The only hope for him is to ignore the losers like us who will never make it and start enjoying his footy again. Otherwise better for him to have a crack somewhere else because at his best he is one of very few decent halfbacks in the NRL.

Not much emotion from me in it, no point bashing a bloke who has a dig when we've had so many soft players you wouldn't piss on if they were on fire.
Brooks drops clearing kicks behind the opposition 20? Not in any game I've watched. His bombs from inside our own half offer no threat, are usually caught easily and brought back to the 40m line or more. Our defence is under pressure field position-wise from that point.
We’ll see.

Only time I have ever felt ashamed to be a Wests Tigers fan was that day at Leichhardt.. Firstly the display by the side in Tommy's Tribute game.. then the disgusting behaviour of some fans on the sideline..

It's funny Brooks gets blamed for our lack of success one could argue if it wasn't for Brooks Wests Tigers would have a draw full of spoons..

Brooksy has never been a dickhead like Mitch, but also doesn’t have his talent levels. Moses it could easily be argued hasn’t enjoyed any real tangible form of success or much improvement since his spacky…

Teddy got a new set of teeth and as @Fade.To.Black says was most probably not included as part of a legal salary cap… he may not have won as many (or any) finals here… but the main aspect of what lured him away from his ‘junior’ club was undoubtedly his ego and need for $ equivalent to his very many, obvious abilities. He was at least 3/4 the player he is now, at least, when he sold out… which I believe was the reasoning for initial posts ^

JAC doesn’t really fit at all and Aloiai is extremely dubious, if even in that category.

I agree. Brooks tries hard. He has improved his defence out of sight. His running game can be dangerous. His attacking kicks, when directed at players such as Doueihi and Maumalo are deadly.
He is not a game or man manager, yet coach after coach insists he is. If he had the opportunity to play like Benji did, only touching the ball when something is on, he would become an asset. In the first 50 v Storm, he looked to be enjoying his footy. He looked fast, energetic and enthusiastic. A beautiful run around move for a try and a great kick for Ken. Awesome. But then the Storm clawed their way back into it. This was the time for him to step up and push them back into their box. Keep them down their end, maybe turn the tide with a 40/20, target their tired players in an almost bullying fashion…alas this is the stuff he doesn’t do and hence his polarising status within the club.

The stuff he doesn’t do? Is the stuff no other half in the comp does. 3 halfbacks last year kicked a grand total of 3 40/20s each.
I was at a game last year, sitting not far away was a Tigers fan. Well he was wearing the merch, but each time Brooks got near the sideline he hurled abuse and insults at Brooksy, calling him names.
I was embarrassed for the people in my group, half of whom were Tigers fans.
I don’t really understand how people can be so influenced by media as to parrot an illogical argument which is designed to agitate them not Brooks.

Geez mate. Clutching at straws you are.
he really isnt though is he? What he said was 100% true. You think luke brooks would be a top4 halfback had he switched to a side like melbourne. Please give me a break, he'd do no better than someone like brody croft. There is literally no evidence to suggest otherwise. All those players mentioned earlier we didn't want to lose, they end up doing better elsewhere because they actually had the ability to do so. In watching brooks all these years, you can't put him in the same bracket.

Did Sheens pay for this article? It's veeery pro Brooks, including some ridiculous meaningless stats to try and make him look better.

We didn't let him go because Doueihi is out injured mostly

Also the reason he cops so much abuse is because we are told every season that he's the man in control and he fails to deliver on it. Getting paid huge coin for it too

You are only saying that because you don‘t know Luke Brooks outside our system. You know the others.

Incorrect

Do you watch the game at all?
Its inexplicable that you think no halfbacks in the comp do this.
Maybe have your guardian with you next time a game is on and they can explain to you what is happening out on the field.

The response those players got upon leaving this club tells a different story. Consider the general response kelma is getting with respect to reports he's signed elsewhere, Brooks wouldn't get the same reception and there is a very definitive reason why.
