A cowboys ‘insider’ mentioned on the blog with Hoops that they have the cap to keep Nanai. Reckons they’ll sign him on a 4 year deal.
Who else are we looking at?
 
Get Flanno as coach and he can bring some of his boys with him.

I'll take Kyle over Brooks any day if it means we can scoop up some Xerri, Kennedy, Nikora and some of the other sharks pack which always appear solid and ready to roll.

Kyle just needs a protector by him like Cordner and he can play a simple controlling game.

He's not Cleary good obviously but he's got a higher footy IQ than Brooks.
 
this recent pathetic performance puts the brakes on any momentum in recruiting. going to be difficult to convince players to come to the club when we don't even have a handle on basic fundamentals in both attack and defence.

Hastings will get 2 weeks though so inly option is brooks 6 Madden 6

get real Kyle Flanagan was garbage with the Roosters he would be terrible with us

No to all of that. No to Flanno the cheat, his son who is next to useless, no to the idea that Flanagan could convince players to leave the Sharks so many years after his own departure, no to the idea that we can buy a protector who would reliably help a weak halfback.

How is he a douche? I don't know, he must practice all the time, because he's very good at being a clown douchebag.

I didn't say anything about his footballing ability, but I will now: he does not deliver his best week in week out. Ask the Souths fans who were eternally frustrated that he could play great during Origin and never manage that for club-level.

yes, I agree mate. we need people like that and we have missed, not gone for a few which shows where we are as a club. not sure Gagai is the one. Finucane (who would have got us Hynes), Ado Carr are two (3?) we badly needed based on what they have added to their new clubs.

Latrell, TPJ are not what we needed.

I was wrong in my opinions on what we needed for quite a while I think. Blindingly obvious now
