Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

No to all of that. No to Flanno the cheat, his son who is next to useless, no to the idea that Flanagan could convince players to leave the Sharks so many years after his own departure, no to the idea that we can buy a protector who would reliably help a weak halfback.
Our CEO was suspended for cheating, why can't we hire a Coach with a shady past? Legit question

McLean eating up a heap of it. Off contract and not being retained.

Mate - I would almost bet my bottom dollar they're intending to spend any money they save on Taumalolo on keeping him...
Despite what they say, I don't believe they want JT at the club on 1 mil a year for another 5 years.
Seems to me Payten has been given the agenda to get him off the books.

For what it is worth the Mole stated the following today:

Tigers could nab Sharks lock

Long-suffering Tigers fans could use some good news right now - and I have some.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote that the club was interested in signing talented Sharks lock Briton Nikora.

The Sharks want to keep the Kiwi Test forward - and several other clubs are also keen on the 24-year-old.

But in an encouraging sign for the Tigers, one of my spies spotted Nikora sharing a quiet coffee with under-siege Tigers coach Michael Maguire last week.

It's not quite over the line just yet - but the Tigers at this stage are the favourites to sign the long-striding back-rower.

We seriously need some fire power in the engine room .. poor Utoikamanu is the only forward that makes meters every week, he's out there busting his gut .. !! Out hooker issue is fixed with Api (we'll keep either Liddle or Simpkin) .. please release Ofahengaue, Tamou, already going Leilua, Tuilagi .. and get some fair dinkum players who want to be here .. who will turn up every games

Our backs .. well good bye Brooks .. do we go after a number 7 or do we try one of our juniors like Joseph Taipari .. Michael Tannous .. Tyronne Roberts .. ??
