Good call. I would promote the 4 of best of our juniors to top 30. Let Hastings and Douehi run the side. Find some outside backs and a experienced fullback or move Douehi nack to fullback

Because Pascoe was suspended on a technicality for an action that never actually occurred (Farah never became a club ambassador), and for which other clubs do all the time, except they get their ducks in a row and don't disclose it to the public (Cronk coaching gig at Easts, Greg Inglis ambassador role at Souths, BMoz training gig at Roosters, Sam Burgess consulting role at Souths etc.)

Pascoe is a businessperson - not directly involved with the health and wellbeing of players or employees. He was fined due to errors in the bookkeeping.

Shane Flanagan presided over a systematic doping strategy and put club success ahead of the wellbeing of his players. He was present during confirmed systematic salary cap rorting. He was penalised and breached the terms of his ban by engaging in club activities. So not only is he a danger to player health and wellbeing, he's a recidivist.

Long-suffering Tigers fans could use some good news right now - and I have some.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote that the club was interested in signing talented Sharks lock Briton Nikora.

The Sharks want to keep the Kiwi Test forward - and several other clubs are also keen on the 24-year-old.

But in an encouraging sign for the Tigers, one of my spies spotted Nikora sharing a quiet coffee with under-siege Tigers coach Michael Maguire last week.

It's not quite over the line just yet - but the Tigers at this stage are the favourites to sign the long-striding back-rower.

One other thing.....
I didn't see anyone who worked for him, Played for him, back him - Even now....
They all seemed very content with Bomber.

The only person I hear mention his name (outside fox) is Buzz Rothfield.
Doesn't appear to have any fans in the game at all - But he just won't go away.

You have summed up a few issues with this post that aren't easy to solve

1) We need firepower - we have no one in our side that teams go, we must watch this dude as they can break us apart
2) We are moving on 5 of our starting forward pack (Tamou, Liddle, Kelma, Lucy, Joe) + at least 2 bench players (Garner, Mikaele) - we only have 2 starters signed up and no depth remaining. Right now we are 5 new players short.
3) If we keep relying on kids we will continue to fail. We don't have anyone in Reggies ready that is knocking the door down let alone looking the goods. And if we field a team of kids they will get spanked, destroyed and any talent possible won't be achieved.

Right now we have all the available spots to fill, heaps of cash but we don't have enough players wanting to fill them & that's just the forwards. The backs are in just as bad shape.

We have had that many 'over the line' and then we seem to be overtaken by a final bid elsewhere. I have had my hopes and excitement brought down too many times, so lets hope it becomes official asap if true . Would be an amazing signing though!

With reports of Fainu touring our facilities today, it would be interesting if we went for both Pele and Fainu. Would definitely be the end of Mikaele.

Franklin Pele, Royce Hunt, Herbie Farnworth, Nanai would be ideal targets.

It’s a mystery how sheens got Papalli and Api to sign they are easily the best players on the roster.

Not sure about Api's money but for the money that was reported for Papali'i and provided he comes with the form he has shown last year and the start of this season then he is a bargain.

If Sheens was responsible for that then the old fox is a genius and he can start right away on getting Farnworth and Nanai.

Always liked Herbie but it looks like this season he going to another level from what I have seen so far.

Nah mate. They've seen our soft style of play and realise the enormous opportunity at their feet. The chance to save your body while earning massive coin. Your teammates won't even judge you. If you get injured, you can just phone it in for the rest of your contract in reserve grade - pretend the injury is preventing you from getting back to your best. The precedent is there.

Playing for the Wests Tigers is a big deal if you want to still have a functioning brain and wallet post-career.
