It's fine , don't think anyone would be whinging if they were playing PS3 til midnight in their rooms.

If the club has an issue, they need to set standards in place, especially for away camps. If they don't like it, if they feel it takes the players' focus away from the game etc, then it needs to be stipulated in the players code of conduct.

This is not even news. Rothfield is agitating for his bumchum Flannagan to get the job, and he wants Pascoe to go because he is the man stopping that appointment.

I don't believe anyone in this thread suggesting it's a bad look or anything else. They have not broken any law or moral standard for the community. No drinking, no bashing women, drugs, starting fights, nothing.

I think this is a terrible look and probably explains Laurie’s form. Losing a few thousand dollars the night before isn’t going to put you in a good mindset for the game. It’s no surprise these two played the way they did.

Yes correct, the Jet got a twinge or a cork or something pretty early on but showed more involvement and effort than I have seen in him for a while considering the injury.

He also made a pretty good break at one stage and showed a bit of pace that I didn't think he still had in him and that was despite that injury.

Reality is that these guys probably trained during the day,had their video sessions and gameplan and talk over and done by 5/6 that night.....people forget that they are entitled to their free time...they werent drunk,molesting women or brawling ....

Agree. The last sentence of the email sounded pretty suss to me, like Buzz himself might have written it. "The way both played showed a care factor of zero". I can't see a fan from another team writing that TBH, what would an opposition supporter care about the attitudes of an opposition's players? Seems dodgy. Another Buzz Rothfield gem.

Professional players across all sports understand that their bread and butter is based on their performance.

How about they use that time to relax, have a good meal, and concentrate on their mental alertness for the game.

If you think that hanging out at a pub and playing the pokies the night before is going to help with on field performance you‘re wrong.
