I will be very surprised if he stays. Api was signed as a forward leader and will be our 1st choice. Liddle isn’t contracted for next year. If he wants to start & play NRL week in week out he will need to move on. Simpkin is contracted - its clear the club holds Simpkin in very high regard, he is the youngest hooker in the NRL by 2-3yrs currently. He has years to develop. Peachey and Hastings can play hooker. Doubt we will have 3 nrl hookers in our top 30 squad with versatility options the squad will already have as it will be a wasted roster spot.

It's predictable, the playing group won't give a shit.

If I was one of the players I’d be so pumped for the challenge but yeah sad times for us

It does, next year if something doesn't give we will have 3 NRL hookers in the squad which is 1 to many especially with the utility options we have in the squad. Api is a 80min hooker, no way Liddle and Simpkin are both playing reserves with 1 on the reserve bench. I can't see all 3 being here. Simpkin has another 2yrs on his deal with us which ends same year as the MO kicks in for Api also as a FYI.
