Last year we conceded a try against a team with a player in the sin-bin.

This year we lost to a team with 2 less interchanges.

I'm still convinced the team has 0 training sessions.

Going to have to update my list.

* Conceded a try being up a man
* Failed to score a try being up a man
* Lost to a team with 2 less players on the bench.

I saw Jason Taylor Terry Lamb and Alan Jones coach my club and they are far and away the worst coaches i have seen in the last 60 years. All coaches have faults but Madge is not even close to be being as pathetic as they were
100% agreed.

I will actually go into bat for Terry Lamb, we won under him. He just was way to immature as a player and coach. But he got the game right and understood how things work.
JT, you will fit my style of attack or else!

Alan Jones, wow you make a point he was by far the worst coach we have ever had. Horrible man, horrible coach,

True,
We were Woeful against a weak Newcastle. Down 14-0 and the commentators were saying "the scoreline could be a lot worse".
That being said, I have seen many teams fail to score when the other team has lost a man. ... Our performance was just not there, we did not want to win.

I have said before that I feel we should get rid of the coach , but what can he produce with better players , we are slowly getting some young guys coming through , purchased some young stars of the future and started to buy quality players
eg is Papi in LL. Out , I think we are stronger
Appi in Liddel out , we are stronger
if we can some how keep going
Roberts out ? Good centre in
Kelma out , One of the guys mentioned ( Nikora in )
Tamou out , big bopper in ( Simms x 2 year )
maybe another coach walks in and just looks like a champ after we strengthen the roster Hmmm just don’t know
Madge will go unless he can start winning soon.

Yet I see "tamou out". okay, why does the ex Captain of Penrith who scored a try vs Warriors go? Did anyone really say "don't sign Tamou" when he made the Grand Final?

If we sign Simms will we be ranting about his bad performance here 6 months later?
Someone like Tamou we brought as a top player, and were getting a Medium performance. So something is really wrong with our coaching.

We should all be asking what is the Club going to do? The difference in standard between WTs and even lower middle ranking teams is obvious. The team plays like it is poorly coached every week, our moves are slower and predictable, poor kick chase, passing is not crisp. Is Robbie Farah being used to teach young Simpkin about crisp passing from dummy half? Everything starts from there and just puts pressure on the halves if service is not good. I would like to know when Sheens calls Maguire in and tells him there is a big problem.

Who has improved in our squad over the last 4 years. When you can’t even count the players that have improved on one hand I would say there is a problem with the coach. I want to like him and no one can deny his passion but the game has past him by. Can someone in the club please just put him to pasture.
I understand that many members and supporters want Madge gone, repeating the same "the game has past him" scenario gets you no where..Madge knows whats expected to win games,he has won premierships,he works hard in the best interest of the team and club...Yet as soon as this team loses the knives come out for him, sure its crap we are going through and because he defends his squad,he gets the blame..
Maybe the game hasnt past him by,he may be trying things a bit differently because of the youth we have, how about Garner in the centres last night,I wouldnt have thought he would be picked there, but Madge must know better than us...
how about this squad and team hasnt understood exactly whats required to compete in the NRL,maybe most of these players havent caught up to the game let alone be past it like the coach apparently has...

yes the bunker dudded us, but the end of our sets were pathetic and our execution in attack was woeful. Madge is in massive trouble. we won't win against Gold Coast, Sharks or Parramatta and I think he will pay the price.

I agree with some of what you say,our execution and end of set plays are up to Brooks and co,if they cant get it right after this long, maybe the coach should stay and they should go..
I keep saying it this team trains well and does everything right on the training park, but cant follow up on game day...they obviously cant handle the pressure or havent got the intestinal fortitude to stand up and play the game tough and smart...other teams do...and surprise ""they win games""......

I respect your opinion TrueTiger but how is it that a new coach like Fitzgibbon comes to a club in an off season and now the Sharks look as well drilled as anyone. Crisp ball movement, players knowing where to be, good game plans etc. We are disjointed on every play. We dont even look like scoring. Our go to play is a kick across field with the hope someone catches it and scores. We get repeat sets and look lost. Its been going on far to long and something needs to change.

It helps they signed Hynes and Finucane. We signed Hastings and Gildart.

They recruited smart, strengthening some weakness - which we have not done in years.

Their spine is classy - unlike ours.

Their coach is smart and likeable and the players want to play for him.

The sharks, controversy aside, seem to have a good culture.

the midfield 'bomb' has been the finish to our sets for years. it puts no pressure on the opposition's back three and gives our chasers no time to get down there. if Madge hasn't identified that as an issue and has continued to let it happen through both selections and tactics then unfortunately it shows he is incompetent.

Absolutely it helps getting Hynes and Finucane but i would suggest its the structures in their team that matter the most. Have a go at some of their tries the other night, it was simple shifts to the left and right, draw and pass and in the corners they go. We cant even get the basics right and that comes back to the coaching methods.

We don't look like a team that trains at all during the week. We look pretty messy.

Look Madge isn’t stupid, you keep under performing players in first grade, don’t publicly bag any players or there commitment, and they will repay you when the likes of pascoe etc…. Start the dodgy reviews on Madge where they ask each player if Madge can coach or not. Oldest trick in the coaching almanac. Seriously Madge will never get another first grade gig in australia again when his reign at the tigers ends, he will have to go back to the uk, similarly a lot of players here will never play nrl outside of the tigers. Dollars and cents people is what it comes down to.

He's still nz coach.

And he’ll join a growing list of coaches this club has done that to. We’re a coaching graveyard. Time to bring on the next poor soul.
