I don't get this logic, yes you are paying for him to play elsewhere, but the alternative is facilitating such a large contract that won't amount to any good within the remainder of its tenure. I understand its an ugly look to pay someone to play elsewhere, but the reality is the contract was a mistake and there will not be any change in how Brooks plays, the club sought to that by deciding to keep this coach past the end of last season. Brooks has not played any sort of consistent football with this coach and thats plain fact (yet some nupties will back him and think they have the right to criticize other players with less than 20 games of first grade, can you believe that). I do think he'll do a job at another club, and for the sake of ourselves and him as well I think the time is up.
Keeping him will do no good for both parties. Won't solve all our problems, but its something that for some reason has been kept constant despite all the changes that have been attempted with coaching staff and players, literally no other team will cater a half in a losing team for this long.
