I don't feel comfortable with a male taking the place of a female in female sports. Nor do I feel this is necessary.
They can make whatever lifestyle choices they like and should be able to do so unencumbered and without ridicule, that's being inclusive.
But inclusivity in competitive endeavours needs context and in my opinion, sports are gendered for a myriad reasons and there is no reason for it to change, as unfortunate as it may be for this individual. Afterall, they are not being excluded from the sport, just a division to which they don't qualify.
