So what now? Where do Wests Tigers go from here?
The Team are playing like park footballers & that assessment is kinder than the performances deserve. The lack of enthusiasm or effort is obvious.
The Coach seems to be accepting the absolute rubbish performances and ignoring the fact that we are going backwards. He just trots out the same old tired cliches and tries to convince supporters that they are improving. He is enjoying the challenge, guess what the fans are not.
The roster is full of players that would not get a run at any other club, nor should they.
The CEO & board are invisible.
As a fan this hurts. I can handle losing, I have been a fan long enough to accept loss as part of NRL. Loss where there is effort & passion , I can deal with. The garbage we are getting this year is totally lacking in effort or passion. We are getting worse every week and I can’t see the Centre Of Mediocrity changing it.
I see the players laughing it up after the game, the fans are not laughing.
Respect the jumper or move along.
I would rather field a team of kids who get flogged but try their hearts out than keep the guys we are fielding now.
Not sure what replies I expect but just venting.

Change the spine:-

1. Laurie/Brooks/To'a - whoever performs best. Start recruiting any way we can for this position. Go and get the best juniors or talent we can.

6. Adam Doueihi
7. Jackson Hastings

9. Jacob Liddle/ Jake Simpkin -- they each play 40 minutes. Rua can come in as well as soon as he proves himself in reserves or you could just give him a go now. Api to come in next year.

Tweak the forwards and backs via juniors and selective signings.

Maybe the coach has to go as well but I think we have the worst spine in the comp atm.

So you mean 16 years, as we’ve been terrible for 11 already. Nothing will be better in 5 years unless the dead beats leading the club to nowhere piss off.

How will that change anything ?

Maybe a better way to phrase the question is how will changing whoever is running the club going to make the team perform better on the park ?

The people running the club have created an atmosphere and a culture where only the bottom of the barrel players will come here. You are seeing what that leads to every single week. Wake up.

Like Pappali and Api ?

Keep plugging away..

Yep. I reckon Hastings and Douiehi are our two best players and we need them on the field and killing it.

Peachy can create something as well but he needs to be disciplined.

2 players! Fmd. So easily pleased

I'm not easily pleased at all. I'm just showing the argument regarding the board doesn't ring true.

Does anyone seriously think the board are responsible for the on field performance of the team ? Does anyone seriously think the board are responsible for recruitment and retention ? Does anyone really think sacking them will turn the club around ?

The solution isn't as simple as sacking the coach or the board or even Brooks but I think sacking Brooks and getting someone better would help the most.

One of our constants since 2019 is not having an established dummy half. Api is a huge signing for us in terms of go forward. Also plugs a hole and doesn’t get bent back.

We're getting the spoon this year so hopefully this will be a bit of a wake-up call for everyone at the club from the top down. Long time coming and we all know it. Question is... Will it bring about the change we all know we need? One can only hope.

Our beloved club seems so on the nose to players now that we could throw as much money as we like at big names and they still would play elsewhere for less. We need to stop the stink.
We would have to hang sausages around our players necks to get dogs to play with them.

On that performance, I would probably drop Brooks, Gildart, Nofa and Madden. But who replaces them?
It leads to the inexplicable conclusion that we need to replace the people who put us in this position. We can start with those who thought it was a good idea to sack Sheens.

Laurie comes back
Hastings to 13
Madden and Brooks halves

Madge to give clear direction to Liddle to feed the ball to Hastings so he can feed the ball to the left (Brooks) and right (Madden)

The lack of ball movement has been bad since Hastings has been out.
