he was very good tonight , API coming could see him move on , would be a real shame , the way he played if he could bring it each week , do we need API ?
 
I would keep Jake and offload Liddle. I would also resign Madden,they are the future moving forward. We have 1 more year of Brooks left, he needs to take a big pay cut and not play 7 ever again in our team or move him on. Interestingly madge said in his presser that he liked Luke at 9 also,so the rest of this season on whom plays where will shape whom we retain and who we purchase over the next couple of years.

think about Harry Grant at Melbourne. was NRL ready for years but did his time under a more experienced hooker and reaped the rewards when he was ready to hit the top grade full-time. Simpkin will be similar learning off Api.

Brooks was good at 9, throws darts also, problem is you need a suitable replacement for him in the halves I thought the attack was stiffled with Madden on, but maybe it would be different if they started like that not sure

I would like to see Brooks play at 9 against the rabbits this week and Madden at 6. We could potentially swap them around in the 2nd half.

Id like to also, but then whos in dummy half while Jake is out? Liddle's service at its best is still ordinary.. he lobs the ball and it pisses me off all the time. The halves play so much better off quick service which Brooks can provide

Agree with Liddle, but he is the best we have for now.
Hastings will help him alot as he done for Simpkin "my opinion" yesterday. Brooksy played well but his game needs to be evolve with Hastings and throwing him into hooker for the last 10-15 minutes when the game is in the balance and hope yesterday performance wasnt a flash in the pan!!
For me Peachey / Rua provide more than Brooks at hooker and Madden on the bench.
Thus telling Peach with a clear direction that it is a team sport and he dosent try to make every post a winner
