Starford To’a #253

plenty of good signs, but also a lot to work on. definitely worth persisting with though, that's for sure. enjoy your stint in reggies Oli.

Hes very illusive FB prob not his go centre or wing for the time being, he could be a genuine excitement machine for us going forward.

He's been playing very solid. If he keeps it up, he'll keep Gildart in Reggie's, especially with Doueihi coming back into the squad soon, I'd think he'll jump in to the centre & Starford pushes Maumalo to Reggie's as well.

I hope the current team can nail it so AD and Stef are not rushed back.
Our focus has to be on continuing to get momentum towards the back end of season rather than fading.
It's going to be good if we start getting competition for spots again.
The likes of To'a and Hastings gives us a new look.

Gildart should not see first grade again irrespective of To'a unless he improves massively. He is a long way off being able to play the Australian standard of football.Even in the UK he was known as a weak defender

On re watching the game this guy deserves a rap..

Chased hard forces King Turdo into error ..

Defended well up against Papali'i all game

Massive run in the lead up to Nofoaluma's 1st TRY..

Picks up a lose ball with an incisive run and quick play the ball for Nofaoluma's 2nd TRY..

Must stay in the team for the rest of the year..has something about him..
Reminds me of Gagai a bit. Movement and effort.

I'd keep Roberts in the centres, he's been play his best footy for a long time, this season. Have Starford on the wing & Maumalo is the odd man out. His lack of effort last week in the Sharks game was infuriating, I was surprised when he was a game day inclusion.

Ken was playing busted last week. And he was a long way from confident in his knee yesterday: in the pre-game footage from the sheds when the players lined up in 3's and did that stutter-step routine they go through it was obvious Ken was nursing his knee. Brave effort to play yesterday and score a good try. Fully fit he is a good performer for us, he deserves his spot IMO.

I don't see how we can afford to leave Maumalo out when we struggle to score points. He's a good aerial target for Hastings and one of the best finishers from 5-10m out. I'm not sure why he warrants being punted for one ordinary game for Roberts who hasn't delivered much other than ordinary games over the last couple of years...

agree based on defence gildart not up to it.
Real question is what will happen on bench this week I think Garner needs to be there as the cover for second row and centre
No dure what we do with Madden ?

He had two or three games last year where he didn't try at stages.

He can stay in the team but they all must be rounded if they aren't putting in they will be dropped

Thanks @Geo

To'a was fantastic.

The forum is so positive after last night's win.
So glad we can all come together and celebrate as fans.

It's like a breath of fresh air in this place.
Thanks Tigers.

It's like all we needed was a win and it's removed a massive amount of NEGAVITY from the forum.

I love it ! 🐯🧡

Until Ken is fit To'a should play in his preferred position which is wing IMO.
Ken is a fav of mine, however he is busted and overweight. If he can get real fit and faster he will be a weapon for us.
Roberts is on the improve. He potentially is better than anyone as a weapon IMO.
Roberts, To'a, AD and Noffa playing at their peak would form a lethal combo. Then throw in Daino who need to go looking for offloads.
