Bench maybe? Until he makes his way into the backrow somewhere....

Disagree. He is one of the best players in the comp. Would be in every team playing at the moment.

Has to go in somewhere in the starting side. Good captain, reads the game well and don't forget he is a very good goal kicker as well. Behind Joffa and Peachy? I think not.

I love AD and he’s clearly a skilful attacking player but agree with your comments around his defence. It’s something that he really needs to work on

I’d say Garner is s fair bit slower!
I am happy with the Doueihi coming back in the centres, especially after a acl. Running straight little sideways stepping but less pressure on the injury comeback the better! Worry about the ifs, next season.
Perfect way to come back in the centres.
We have plenty of halves playing well at the moment, I think madden is coach coming along nicely. Just give him time.

True but you can't slot him straight into the halves after his fairly long stint on the sidelines. I thought he played well there last year but if Brooks and Hastings form a combination for the next few games hes out, it would be stupid to start Adam in the halves. Now, if hes not in the halves or playing centre (I'd have To'a and JTJ ahead of him in centre with laurie at fb) hes likely off the bench in place of Madden

I also want him in the side and think he is a very good player.
I also feel he doesn't get critiqued as much as other players & he has some large areas that need to be improved if he is to be a success be it 5/8th, centre, fullback or another role.

I just said he's in our 17...
I don't think he's quick enough or defends well enough to be at centre
His defence isn't up for the middle
And he doesn't take the spot of any of our halves...

I agree he might get the utility spot in most teams in the comp - Be interested to see how many starting Halves, Locks or Centre spots he gets in fit squads though...

My guess, Not many.... Maybe the Dogs.

Mostly his defence, especially positioning. Quite often makes the wrong read and takes the wrong man

In attack he's our best weapon. Can score and create tries better than anyone we've got and showed that last year

He'll be lucky to crack it in first grade anywhere other than centre. Doesn't have the motor for the forwards, nor the defensive will. He's good close to the line at centre and can probably set up his winger. Not good defensively but I think we've improved as there as a team. Slow, poor defender, ball hog...I think we've all been calling out our centres for the past few years for doing exactly that.
5/8, he's no chance.

If he wants to play 5/8th fulltime he needs to add 2 core components to his attack
1) Ability to rove right to left, he does favour the right bigtime.
2) Kicking game. His bombs are great but telegraphed. If he has zero time his kicks suck, if he has heaps of time I would hate to be a fullback under his bombs.

with Hastings in the team you do not need Douhie as goal kicker
