Balmain SG Ball team defeated the Raiders. The halves for Balmain were Moses and Brooks while Milford played for the Raiders.

Somehow managed to see the last 30 mins with Daily telegraph site letting me in to watch without a subscription strangely.
Crazy finish to the game. Ill-Discipline kept Raiders in the match and nearly cost them. Jordan Miller on report for a high shot (didn't look like much in it, but who knows how they adjudicate at the Judiciary for this age).
William Craig not smart to give away a silly penalty in front of the sticks in extra time (left the ref with no choice).
Then the ending was bizarre...a high shot on Luke Laulili first sparked things. But one of the Wests boys stopped Laulili going on with it. Then another carry, Galvin I think it was surrenders on the ground like a voluntary tackle. Raiders bloke sort of jumps/belly flops on top of him while on the ground and then it was everyone in (including the 3 silly bench players who got sent off...numbers 11, 14 and 16).
From what I saw, Galvin played really well and Luke and Kit Laulili were the other 2 standouts. Both Laulili boys look exceptional talents and hard workers on the field. Jordan Miller strong with the ball, but poor with his discipline. Tajh Colquhoun has some speed and looked threatening. Just couldn't nail the final part of a try or get the offload right. Da Silva a good bit of speed and weaving from dummy half to bag the match winner.

So nswrltv were set-up all day at the stadium where our semi was played, streamed 3 matches, yet still somehow didn't stream the semi of the number one ranked side? That's just pathetic.
On the plus side the Roosters were easily the second best side in Matts this season, they were as good as us. Them losing is a bonus for us, but the Sharks always recruit aggressively across the country to have strong juniors

We are still producing good juniors. Our problem has been making sure the good ones are staying, making sure those good ones make positive life choices, and not letting them go to other clubs. I feel like the work our coaches are doing on our pathways is starting to show dividends. Guys who have been in our system for a while now are starting to show what good players they are.

A heads-up that one of our Marsden SHS signings Chris Faagutu who will be joining us in 2023 plays in the Mal Meninga Cup (U18) GF on Sunday for Souths Logan. He looks in a similar mould to Matamua.

3 of them fronting the judiciary. Not sure when or if it's already happened
