They are. Dragons have 8 players with NRL experience. We have Peachey, and Pauga who's played 2 NRL games. Huge difference, don't underestimate the impact having 10/30 NRL contracted players injured has across the board!

Maybe this is all just part of the long term plan, like Papenhuyzen he needs to spend 2 years at least paying against men and building his body. The issue is we only have one feeder club and also require a backup for our currently injured fullback. So the long term development of a player takes a back seat to the immediate need for depth in the NRL.

We simply don't have the luxury that a club like Storm have with multiple feeder clubs in the qrl, now do we have an elite player on his position in first grade which largely negates the need for a quality backup

I can’t say too much demps other than there are certain players that have had a pen put through them, a player manager that’s in far to tight with our recruitment manager imo, and a wests official who’s high up caught publicly bagging KOE players at lidcombe last week and the coach.
