Ever who plays second fiddle to Api next year needs to play as much as he can this year, so that would be Simpkin IMO.
 
I believe 2022 is a building year for WT.

I feel To'a could be a permanent solution at Centre going forward so I would play him there the rest of 2022. Full back does not seem to be his position.

WT should push hard to sign Dykes as a mid season signing. Surely we have money to blow any Sharks offer plus his pathways to NRL are blocked by Will Kennedy.

Play Gildart or someone else at full back. WT are not going to play finals in 2022.

I would also given Kepaoa a run as the other Centre before AD is back from injury.

Given Kelma and Garner are moving on we should play Seyfarth at Second Row and give one of the Development Second Row players a chance, They are WT future not Kelma and Garner.

Also give one of the development props a go off the bench during the remaining rounds to see what they have.

Cowboys in red hot form and don't think whatever side we put up is going to beat them

Young Williams at the Sharks?

It’s a bit early yet to make the changes you are suggesting, but both the Panthers in 2019 and the cowboys in 2021 and could make a case for the sharks in 2020 (although still made the finals) made this call about mid way through the season. Todd has even made comments around his decision to use last year to try out as many of the players in his squad and get a feel for who has and hasn’t got it, get some miles in their legs, get them used to the speed of the game.
We get to the first bye with less than 3 more wins I’d say we would be stupid not to try it out.

Basing this on Mamaulo & Mikaele missing through concussion protocols & needing Peachey as the utility on the bench. Tualagi to be demoted to the bench for some poor errors/misses on Sat. This will be Madge's team.

I would have Peachey in place of Gildart in the centres (with Madden on bench).

Completely agree, he single handedly gives up at least two tries a game. Gildart should be on the bench for KOE not taking up a spot for a youngster, he is poo.

Yes so he can get picked up bye another club next year because Api plays mostly 80 minutes so I doubt Simpkin or Liddle will hang around

maybe towards the end of the year depending on what we have to play for and if there's any injuries in the squad. he had an improved showing in Cup last week but I feel as if he's still got a bit to learn and needs to be a bit more aware of his natural gifts. three year contract means we aren't rushing him and that he's clearly a long term project.

I've got no doubt that it's all between the ears for him, athletically speaking I think he is special. has that touch of class and silk that's only seen in the top echelon of footballers.

During the koe cup game

There was a run which really showed his atheltic ability

Around 5:10 lrft in first half
