While your all bagging him he is playing what his 8th NRL game and your all riding him to be a failure...just remember Noffa can score a try with his tricky little dives and acrobatics,but he has been here for years and lets just as many tries in ...
Get off Gildarts back and let Madge do his job,otherwise get your coaches ticket and show us what you can come up with seeing we have injuries and minimal depth...
And yet Kepoa who has talent and hands like feet,Starford a future star but lets bombs fall instead of attacking them,and Kelma who cant help 4 players put an attacker on his back...
but just bag Gildart because you can....give him a chance,you gave many other players on big money plenty of chances for NOUGHT....

His tackling isn't that bad, just misses the crucial ones.
Have a look at Wests Tigers website players tackle efficiency.
I know they're not the be all and end all but a guide that he can tackle. Give him time people. How many NRL games has he played. What's the rush.....mad monday 🤣

Starford To'a not a bad fullback if he could catch the ball.

If only this weren't the most important skill for a fullback.

I still have nightmares of Moses Mbye playing fullback for us. Wish we could leave fullback fumbles in the past.

Pauga is hard to work out. He looks very likely in attack, but drops the ball constantly.

Nu Brown was sharp on his feet in KOE cup, I would have put him on the bench and Peach at centre.

I'm under no illusion that Pauga is a very average pick too, but I think he offers more than Gildart.

Nu Brown is a handy pick up 2 weeks ago playing for another club .. last week playing KOE Cup for the Magpies .. now picked on an extended bench for the NRL squad. Can play hooker, backrow, halves, and in the backline.

Was good at Cronulla but he did not click at Canterbury

Basically playing with 12 having gildart there.

I've got a feeling, I hope anyway, that Gildart is just starting to find his feet now in the much higher standard of footy in the NRL.
I reckon he had a pretty good game on Saturday against Manly, probably his best game so far.
My guess/hope is we'll see improvement from him in each game going forward.
