LIVE GAME vs Cowboys *Spoilers*

Live Game Discussion
The glass half full way of looking at tonight is we lost 2 of our spine before half time, already had our first choice fullback out, had a debutant and Pauga playing his first game of the season, have Stef still trying to find his fitness, were down to 1 on the bench at one stage, got smashed in the 50-50 ref calls as usual, and somehow managed to give up less points in the 2nd half than the 1st half.

People out of position, a heap of injuries, a weak team, but we showed a fair bit of fight and hung in ‘til the 80th minute.

Seeing so much more grit and determination compared to last year. We get some troops back for second half of the year, get the rub of the green half the time and think we can start to get some wins on the board.

I don't think so. The effort has been there and nothing has gone our way. In saying that we are
2-8 and 15th on the ladder. If we get beaten next week, then the wheels will have fallen off - who knows then.
Effort might be there mate but like you said, results aren't pretty. Suppose he does have extensive Injuries tho

I'm with 8 Ball..Magic..

Jacko deserves all the money in the world. Absolutely ridiculous the about of work he does, both with the ball and marching the troops around.

Gerard Sutton is a terrible ref.
Sadly any player manager with his clients interest at heart is fielding offers after that.

Mate first of all, welcome [unless your a re-run] to the forum.
You've now been appointed as the Forum's enthusiasm officer 👍

I have been a critic of the wests tigers the way they have gone about everything since Tim Sheens exit.
Let's build our juniors again and become a great club.
Tonight I think it was a guttsy effort against it all, injures officials, a non home game.
Let's get behind our team, the team we have at the moment and not squabble amongst ourselves.

another week where I am so so proud of my football team. injuries and dud calls continue to plague us and we continue to stand back up. this year is done in terms of making the 8, but we are putting the foundations in place for something special in the coming years.

lastly, Junior Tupou. I saw enough in 80 minutes tonight to know he is special. the way he moves across the ground and in the air is not something I've seen in a Wests Tigers jersey in a very long time. he'll go back and ply his trade in Cup but hopefully by the end of the year he's made the transition and is ready for a year of first grade come 2023.

Nice sentiment Steveo...welcome.. but it's not going to happen..

I haven’t been upset with our recent losses. The effort is there and we are dealing with a pretty horrible injury crises at the moment.

There are some slight technical issues in defence that can be fixed up but it’s also difficult to get consistency when we have so many forced changes prior to and during games.

The biggest disappointment has been the refereeing and bunker decisions. It’s completely taken us out of games that we were in. There was a cowboys try where the chaser was offside from the kick. Even the commentators were saying we haven’t been given the rub of the green. It makes it harder to swallow and seems to be getting worse as our season continues.
