This place was gret until some thought they were better than the group, perhaps because the club reached out.... IDK about fan divisions but that ambush have a clear agenda and its not about member? self serving at best

im not on either side really, but this place went to pot. agendas galore and only some (not ambush) stand up.

No this is related to the Wests Tigers, though we do promote Ambush events on here and other forums.

Though not an Ambush Event the club has asked us to promote the Wests Tigers Week at the Sackville Hotel.



The Sackville Hotel in Rozelle is hosting a number of Wests Tigers related events in the lead up to our first Leichhardt home game this Friday night!

Tuesday 17 May - 7pm: Wests Tigers Trivia ft John Skandalis, Shannon Gallant and Brett Kimmorley

Wednesday 18 May - 6pm: Wests Tigers Q&A w Tim Sheens

Thursday 19 May - Wests Tigers Raffle (WIN a WT jersey & game day tickets)

Friday 20 May - pre-game Pints for Schooner prices from 4-6pm + $16 Jugs after the game

Fame, what fame are you going to get from a fan group and a podcast?

If that was the case, why would we be promoting other groups and other pods?

The aim of the Ambush is to create connections between fans, and engagement with the club, that is for all fan groups or sites.

The pod I just do for a bit of fun because I like talking about football and it gives me that opportunity to do so. Can I be a arrogant in my opinions, 100% but that is what a pod is for.

have to say the sackville is where I learnt to bet and is a great pub.

The event looks good, but just realise that the people here promoting it are not about the tigers, its all about them.

The Sackville will be awesome and if you are around will be well worth it. I have no vested interest and won't be there as I'm out of town, but sure you should turn up there if you can

Yeah mate, I don't post as often here anymore, is that an issue? We still promote this site at ambush events, even the podcast site has a link direct to this forum and one of the people involved in organising the ambush events is a mod here while others are active members.

To be honest, I don't like posting here as much as I used to, did I get upset over the mod stuff? Yeah I did, but that is history and I have moved on. The reason I don't post as regularly is I don't like the tone here, but just like I don't have any real interest in being in an active supporter group like the jungle doesn't mean I can't support and promote them and work together to create better engagement of our fanbase.

That is great that you like the tone here, that is why we promote various groups as different people like different things, same as the Ambush and the Jungle supporting each other, they are different groups that cater for different fans. That doesn't make us separate. I will end it heer as you seem to have your mind made up and that is ok.

I hope you continue to show your support the club in a way that makes you happy and I will do the same.
