I’m not convinced his out of the running.
He spoke about it on the footy show and said I’m not interested I’m coaching the blues.
Then in the next sentence mentioned, that the bulldogs should wait until after the origin series to look for their coach, take some time to consider all options.
He went on further, breaking down their play style and how a new coach could get some success out of them.
A lot of detail for someone not interested at all.

I’m not trying to have a go, I’m really not. But you really need to be careful with what you post as these types of rumours are particularly damaging and unfair to players.

This one was never a story, Nofoaluma has been struggling quite a bit both mentally and physically with these side effects and people coming at him with this garbage is the worst possible thing for him and Hastings.

I would think anyone posting stuff like the Nofo/Hasting thing could put themselves in defamation territory. Saying stuff on a open forum doesn’t give you immunity from defamation proceedings. A player like Hastings has gone to long lengths to improve his image after his days way back at Manly and this current stuff doesn’t help. Sadly often mud sticks even when it is crap

Yeah Flanagan and his wouldn't work. Everyone goes on they need an experienced coach but an experienced coach wouldn't put up with Gus micromanaging all the time. Plus being thrown under the bus regularly in

Well I agree it’s not coincidence.
Madden does it once and it payed off, Brooks has been really good lately and I think watching a young bloke back himself the way Madden he is healthy for Brooks.
And I have never seen Brooks chip and chase for himself and nail it.
Rarely have I seen him with the exception of a runaway try from a loose ball create something for himself the way Madden did.
I’ve not said Brooks should be punted or that I don’t like him as a part of the squad.
I’m saying Madden played well and he did!!!
You have your opinion on what you see on game day and so do I.
Again I think Madden deserves a contract if for depth alone.

The old chip and chase in recent times has been reserved for the last few seconds of a halve when teams have gone for the miracle play. Than Adam Reynolds pulled it out of the bag with great success and the idea has caught on with other play makers.
Of course winding the clock back it was a common weapon most playmakers would use regularly . Anyway good to see it back

But perhaps mods can monitor unsubstantiated hurtful Rumours by deleting before they catch on as they are hurtful to the club and player.

Apparently management reached out to us, Sheens a big fan of Lodge as he brought him to the club originally and rates his work rate.

Haven’t heard anything besides that, just know there were talks and it progressed well

Sheens likes to keep everything in house, so unsure what’s happened since…. but the fact Mikaele has been released (a prop) the day after Lodge got released (a prop) makes me think we could see an announcement today
