Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

If the rumours are correct and we have now missed Bird, Hopgood, Nikora, Atkins, Angus C etc... it is really starting to become concerning. We are not going to get lucky like Papa again and get top players for under's.
We will be sitting there with shortage of players and all this money to burn like normal... For me we need to pay a little overs until we start WINNING and players want to come here... Sick of getting the left overs and also sick of relying on all younger players to develop.. We need a balance to be successful and help develop the younger ones.
Stay strong Jonesy and don't invest yourself in rumours. They aren't to be believed!

You're entitled to your opinion, but seriously? As bad as that was, I'm fairly sure you defend at least one player who regularly does dumb (amongst the good) things, is a veteran and earns at least triple.

I stay out of a lot of those discussions so if I have the wrong poster, apologies, but this just strikes me as arguing in bad faith unless you are willing to accept a single clanger as irrefutable evidence that are wrong when you defend anyone else in the side.

Not at all mate, I can accept it - no problem (more than most) just an example that sticks in my mind of all the stuff Blore doesn’t do (yet)
They all make blunders - but I find some players get drawn and quartered, some achieve god like status…

Blores rep i find really exaggerated on here for the amount of work he’s done - and how far he’s got to go… if he’s our starting back rower next year as picked by a few here, we’re in trouble,…

Good kid, plenty of potential - but where he is and where he needs to be are a ways apart

Well stated, cheers mate.

We want him to stay as well!

His profile has hit the roof since he joined us.

While Harry Grant and the cat are struggling in the profile smog since they left. Just not the same aura as when they ran out for us.

We do offer these youngsters and rejects a fair go in the wider league world. Ken and Starford are two examples. A bit more work required, but they are building nicely. People are whispering good things about them.

Hastings has gone from forgotten esl, outcast punk to NRL superstar.

We can sure build the quieter lad up in the public eye, give them some prominence.

I like this about our club.

We'd hurled it around to get out there and Liddle was still in the middle...
Got a caning here for it at the time.

Wasn't his fault - No Hooker gets to every single play the ball, especially when the ball is shifted and they were at the last one.

But Blore was right there...
Daydreaming!!
That was definitely Liddles fault. He stood with his hands on his hips after the previous play and didn't move

That what happens when you're a bottom feeder club.
