Having said that Ciraldo seems to be the one who will build club using pathways and attracting talent .

I read a few days ago that Hastings was pissed at nofo over his night out while on concussion protocols and insisting he not be picked .Not sure what thread I read this and hope untrue but can't have one player dictating anothers future

Who hasn't passed off nofo
 
for me if I could choose any coach in the game , I would choose Todd Payton . He was the heir apparent , and probably knew it hence the whiteanting .
It sux that he couldn’t hide his time one to two more years as all this merry go round stuff wouldn’t have happened . And I honestly believe that .
As for anyone not named Madge . I’d rather see a proven winner in Wolfe , he’s killed it in the super league , and help galvanise the Tonga team to what it is now .
Ciraldo SCREAMS bust to me ! He works at the panthers because he’s apart of well oiled machine , granted he’s may have been a huge contributor to the building of that machine , but it would be a huge risk , as no panthers assistant has done anything .

Woolfe is in a lower standard comp.

He isnt the one to rescue this club nor is john Morris.

Yep he is the only one I would support. He always wanted the job knows the club inside out and is great mates with Sheens.

Well he did wonders for Tonga , is well liked in the industry , and has a strong reputation . And the last 2 coaches to come out of that league with similar results have gone on to win the comp in the nrl . Robbo and Madge for those wondering . I think to dismiss a guy who’s spent the last 3 years winning , for guys sitting on thier butt , or Guys who have been riding the success of a golden generation .
I dunno seems dismissive for me , and confirmation bias .

Does not surprise me. I watched Hastings spray Noffa when he let in a try v Souths in the game we beat them. I get the feeling Noff would not take that sort of thing too well. Seems like he thinks he’s all that. And yes, going out partying while your supposedly still struggling with headaches is just another display of guys who aren’t professionals, just collecting cheques.

I would like a compromise situation with regards to coaching for the rest of 2022 .This would entail Madge remaining as co-coach with Ciraldo as his offsider coach for the rest of 2022 and would give Ciraldo a really good chance to prepare himself for full time coaching in 2023.

Ok but out 4 weeks now more than enough sanction for the "crime of the century" and my post said it was Hastings who was pissed off at Nofo not the other way round

I think Hastings is off noffa for more than one thing. Hastings is a winner.

Sorry to disagree but that's exactly what we need. No more of this BS boys club who carry on like flogs in their little sandals and pants that dont reach the ankles on boats in Sydney Harbour. Call it as it is. Be a leader. Call out bad behaviour.

Fifita started the "Tonga Revolution" And Taumalolo to a point.
By getting all the better players to commit.

The last coach to come out of there with similar results is Justin Holbrook
- Has a squad full of Origin Players and has the same amount of wins as us!!

When Woolfe was in Aus, He was coaching ressies in Townsville.... Nothing special results wise.

I get your point, I'd probably prefer him over Flanagan.
But there's plenty of coaches that kill it over there and come back to leave not much of an impact on anything.
