Make no mistake. Come November Hastings can talk to other clubs and there will be interested clubs just based on what they seen this year.
We just need to lock it down now. Nothing else should be a priority.

Dont just blame a premiership coach on 2 different continents to take the blame for the incompetence of the split,despicable JV board,its been going on for years,but its easy to make the coach the fall guy...thats the way its always been here..until that garbage changes then expect the same...

The cap has been ok the last couple of years though hasn't it?

Tim should be across everything at the club already, if he doesn’t know what’s going on, God help us, what’s he supposed to be doing? And I’m Tim-friendly.

There’s only a review occurring because the decision makers don’t know what’s going on or want to be seen to be doing something.

We need a board that knows it’s stuff, not a public review with all of the attendant adverse publicity every third day.

I don’t care if our chair can’t speak English and is delivering laundry around hospitals, so long as he or she gets the decisions right, I’m happy.

I'm not sure why you're mentioning Lee. Please correct me if I'm wrong but as the Chairman he is a leader but his vote counts just as much as any other board member.

There is no denying that we suck. Let the people who are partly responsible for getting us in this position get us out of it. Weve gone through 4 CEOs, 4-5 boards/chairmen and 4 coaches since our last Finals appearance. Give them as much time as they need and let them change it. The major decisions they've made such as hiring Cleary, Sheens and Madge have been good decisions.

People can use the cap & not his squad as an excuse but his results were more positive than what they are today.

Not saying that should be grounds to be replaced, just calling out that people shouldn’t use it as an argument.

Every single new coach of a team inherits another squad but in 4yrs you just don’t see the decline of both reserves and NRL sides Madge has seen.

Club needs to have a real honest look at the reason that elite talent turns us down.

With sincere respect, I don’t have to re-iterate and go through all of the bad decisions.

Going backwards, coming second last and then throwing Madge under the bus twice speaks to his competency.

As Chair, the bucks stops with him.

To surrender power to Tim on the issue shows just how paralysed and without a clue they are. That’s not leadership, it’s shirking and I might add, a bit unfair on Tim who might now be troubled about consequences to friends etc.
He can’t admit that, nor can the board, but it opens up a door which should never have been opened.

A turn over of higher echelons is fine if a club is getting results ( many clubs have had massive churn at these levels during the long period you mentioned), but we aren’t getting what we need in the here and now.

There have been some good decisions, sure, but the bad ones have outweighed that.

When Lee was appointed he spoke about a bright future and change. He made that promise and he’s failed miserably.

Nothing personal, he can still fund us.

But to be fair, There's only so many clubs that are a reality....
Raiders, Dogs, Titans (Maybe), Knights, Rabbits (Long shot) Roosters (Long Shot) Warriors, us and Dolphins... Other clubs are well served there...

Out of the list above, I would narrow it down to Us, Dolphins, Dogs & Knights.
With only us and dolphins not already top heavy cap wise...

I like our chances.

Don't write off the Roosters. They had him before they know he can play but was immature.
They love to chop and change their halves like dirty undies.
That's my fear. Politis is shrewd.

They can and do....
But they also have Manu there, He may move to centres....
Surely JH doesn't go back after they speared him to Manly?

If he had the choice, My bet is he'd love to be at the Dragons - But Hunts contract might through the timing of that.
