So what does everyone think about benny elias, obviously he was the leak to buzz, probably having a few beers together right now.
Not someone the tiger's club can trust, straight to media.

Not sure if Elias has anything to do with the club in any official capacity. Might be one of the Directors leaking to him, maybe the peroxide looking dude, who knows.

Agree it’s not rocket science. If Madge had a pool of awesome youngsters to nurture then we could compare apples with apples.
Yes love how we talk about these young players like they are FG ready with the right players in the top grade to transition them . My understanding is there is a crop coming through who are not ready but if Maguire has been overlooking some now, start naming names please.

Being honest would be saying it wouldn’t matter who the coach is right now but to get the media off our back we’ll punt Madge, risk losing our best players and hope for the best whilst we watch the top clubs steal our young talent that we developed over the next 3 years.

Oh noooo Madge is gone the world is ending.

Geez it’s not the end of the world. At least we might move up the ladder for a change, last few years we have been nothing but slipping down it under Madge.

Its being honest. He is clearly banking on juniors coming through and in 3yrs will be really when the 1st wave hits from U19s etc.

If we want to be a pathways team then it’s going to take alot of time to do it right mixed with the right winners/experience
Yeah I've come around now the emotions have settled and see this is the priority.
Love Madge and feel for him, hate the way this has all unfolded but in all truth he doesn't fit the management model we've proposed to facilitate WTs player and team development. Fundamental things like basic skills levels and team cohesion are very poor for such a high performing sport. Players are also unable to cope with fatigue and stress due to the speed of the current game.
One of the club's main objectives was to have the same distinctive style throughout all grades and whilst our lower grades are great attacking teams, our first grade aren't up to standard.
We've all commented on how he's not had success in embedding this into the team and unfortunately for them, they've just not adapted at a reasonable rate to be competitive enough in the NRL.
For this alone, I support the decision.

We need someone with a transformational coaching style, whose methods are innovative and highly receptive in a game where motivations need to always match game intensity but player well-being and growth takes precedence.
He's (Sheens) providing some direction and this for me is just one of the roadmap of actions needed in order to get there.

What the F is pathways? How does it differ from last year.
Besides the wests HM team the remaining SG and Balmain HM were terrible this year and only a handful of players from their putting their hands up.

Is our pathways position now indicative of a solid commitment that all the Wests and Balmain boys are happy to ply their trade as Wests Tigers juniors and not consider any other clubs.

Is the new coach planning a meet and greet with all our best 16 year olds to get a gage of whether one of them will be a Sam Walker or Reese Walsh equivalent and help the club to premiership in 5 years?
I concur.

I’m still waiting for Scholari.

No, Elias doesn't have anything to do with the club officially, someone from the club would've said it to elias in confidence ( thinking he's a club great) and he was on the phone asap

I must say i was saddened about todays big announcement mainly due to the timing of it.

For the past two months there is no doubting that the WT with a new brand of attitude and football have been competitive in every game except for the second half of the last round.

I'd like to remember Madge as a coach who came in when the team was in a total mess and who knew that it would take more than a year to fix,
And now has left us at a time when what he had strived for seemed within reach.

Thanks and best regards Madge.

And so i now say that his replacement must now be no other than Ciraldo.

I agree with Ciraldo.

Madge will be snapped up soon I’d say.
