No doubt - good guess…
I’m wondering how being a clapped out wannabe who now makes a living off charging kids bands to play for “exposure” makes him 1/5 or 1/7 of the most important decision makers at our club.

It’s funny that whenever his name is bought up here the only thing anyone has to say about him is that he tried to have a musical career in the 70’s…

Never any mention of his business or football acumen…
At least blokes like Mick Luibinskis actually played the game…

I hate comments like this . It’s such a self fulfilling circle jerk IMO . No disrespect.
We are a rabble because of 10 years of dumb decisions. None of which were made by anyone with any respect in the nrl . We have that now in Sheens .
Somehow getting him back , I hope , is the circuit breaker . And his conviction and clear outline of the plan , is really in opposition to any messaging we’ve ever had around this type of stuff .
Most of the time it’s a media statement and radio silence .
And to be honest he’s right . We’ve won 3 games . Got belted by the worst team I’ve ever seen in the nrl last year.
Got lapped by the storm and the could have put 80 on us , but they took thier foot off the pedal .
Sure it’s on the players , but his message was clearly white noise to some of these guys .
And that’s on him . He’s paid a mil a year to be able to find channels and pathways to get these guys to execute for 80 mins a week .
And he has has failed to do that .

A bit dramatic guys, where have you heard this apart from assuming it's from Gus Gould.
If that's what your basing it on, don't you think it's to scare WT off Ciraldo whom Gouk6d wants akso?

I'd say that about AD being a junior and has said many a times he loves this club. I doubt it very much if he wanted out.
JH on the other hand holds Madge in high regard and is loyal, he could jump ship but money talks.
I think Jackson would be looking at a long term deal.

I remember he had a number of hits in the Sydney indie scene back in the day

“ No officer it wasn’t me, it was my girl”

He saw Justin’s haircut and threads, liked the cut of his jib and made him CEO.

He will get the shock of his life, when he cleans up and finds out that his bad mushroom trip on the wests tigers board is actually real.

I think he should quit the board and take up a new role as a roadie.

Yeh I get that, my ref is I believe gus is full of hot air by shying us away from sacking madge and going for ciraldo, that's the threat that we will lose JH and AD. All of which I think is too dramatic, I believe AD would stay being a WT junior

Gus didn’t name names…

But he’d have a few managers in his ear atm. Has about 6 mill to spend in 5 months…
If the journos are hearing Madge is getting sacked and it’s on the money - why wouldn’t Gus be hearing that there are players who won’t stay on if we sack Madge?

And why would Doueihi stay just cos he’s a junior - when did his loyalty become so important to him… he left us to go play for Madge at south’s - left south’s to come lay for Madge at the tigers…

They sacked him and didn’t pay him out - then just stopped paying him all together…

What did they think was going to happen.
They tried to give him a different job instead of having to fork out…

Shame Lee wasn’t around back then, Tim might have taken him up on the mowing job at LO
