It looks like releasing Makaele was more about letting him take up a contract in Super League rather than freeing up a spot for an incoming. If ones does come, that's great, we don't have to move someone on, but otherwise we will probably upgrade from within. Just a guess by me though.

Been a while 851, so hope things are well.

A lot has happened mate, not all good with my mum, she had a massive stroke on christmas eve, she is basically paralysed down her left side, it has taken months to sort out all the stuff involved after that

Agree about the forwards, but I think Roberts will be moved into a mentor role/retire. We have a few options at 6 already: Brooks, Douehi and Laurie?? We only have Hastings as 7, seeing as how we seemed to have moved on from Brooks in that role, so probably need to keep Madden as the 7 backup.

Thanks mate, I have had a lot to sort through, even making sure my dad is alright after finding mum a care facility, centrelink, bank accounts, super funds, doctors, physios, becoming power of attorney for both mum and dad the list was endless, hopefully now I can get some clear air

If Sheens is true to his word, I don't think we'll see any movement/recruitment until we get a coach.
The whole reason for Madge to go mid season is so the new coach can have his own roster.
The longer we wait for a coach the longer it's going to take to sign players.
With this in mind I don't think miracles will happen for the remainder of the season unless Noddy turns Gatorade into wine (Noffa might like that 🤭)
It will be interesting to see what attitude the tigers will turn up with on the weekend, after all they are playing for their future. 🤔

The shock is bad enough, but it's amazing what we find within ourselves, in adversity.
