Well listen Lee, nothing personal, but accountability means just that and if you expect to be taken seriously, youd recognise you’re tenure at the helm has been catastrophic and you should hold yourself accountable and either quit or suspend yourself and the board from making more poor decisions.

You’re on notice Lee, this new coach is your last chance. If you want a result driven process, it’s time for you walk the walk.

Almost everything Lee said can be easily disproven and contradicted.

He’s invited his critics to write to him and I have a few tough questions for him.

Nothing personal, it’s just entirely insincere and disingenuous to blame Madge and the players etc when you have the ultimate say.

If they’d brought in the right people in the first place, we’d be top 4 easily by now.

All I can say Earl is I think Pascoe will probably get a little less abuse now that Tim seems to be doing more media.
Tim should be the voice and the face for all footy related stuff like announcing recruitment or releases.
The coach can do his pre and post press conferences.

Yes, we all hoped and prayed that he would be able to lead.

His staff might brown-nose him and his clients might be scared of him.

But league people are really tough.

And $800k thrown away because even though he fancies himself as a lawyer he can’t draft a simple clause limiting our liability:

“ In the event that the coach is dismissed by the club, the clubs maximum liability to the coach by way of any termination payout shall not exceed the sum of $50,000.00”

I really believe that Sheens is going to turn this basketcase around. I was a big Madge fan until I thought it through yesterday and listened to Tim's comments. We need a coach who can develop the young talent coming through and unfortunately Madge is not that man, he is a passionate man manager suited to international teams but tactically and development wise he is not it. We may well lose the likes of Hastings etc but if they are not invested then who cares. We will be in for some painful years again blooding these youngsters but it will be necessary,it is not like we have been setting the world on fire anyhow. I hope Noddy pisses off some of the older bludgers now such as Tamou, Nofa, Garner, Brooks etc and regardless of results we see some young guys given a crack.

Which is the heart of the Madge problem. South Sydney made it to the finals and Madge seemed to push them hard. Yet their last coach was Langmack, Madge drove the talent yet clearly he had a far better side (GI, Burgess x4, Many other good forwards, insane backs, etc).

I also don't care if tactically he gets it or not. Sure your coach needs tactics and that's where Sheens excelled (Flanagan in that Sharks Grand final was a genius. Having Barba in the scrum, genius).

The development side is KEY!
Wests Tigers have not improved. We imported Hastings and you take him out, were 16th.
2021 arguably, Madge built the team he wanted. Yet really he was still under manned and under coached.
2022 Madge had his own team and staff.

Far out the Dogs have fired Barrett after 1.5 years and Dean Pay far sooner. I can't believe after 4 years of failure we were still behind this guy.

I think Ciraldo is ethical, he would not be dealing in the background to undermine Madge - now the stage is set.

I did read Ciraldo would only move forward if the coaching position was vacant.

Hey mate I think you were on the pod cast right? I'll give u a tip get over Madge he's gone. His 4 years were a failure. We did not make the 8. He had no plan . Could not sign a marquee and to top it off the tails from tiger town doco when he was dropping f bombs was a poor look. Sure he's a nice guy. Passionate what ever. But he failed plan and simple his record was horrendous. He signed every player it was his squad. Time to move on.

He said can someone point to something Pascoe has done that has impacted on field performance?

Does getting himself suspended and getting the club a significant salary cap fine count?

What about signing Ivan Cleary, allowing him to screw the salary cap and then allowing him to leave?

My issue with him is the talk Mate. Praising Madge when he should have been circumspect, now by saying Madge failed (which clearly didn't happen overnight) he makes himself and the club look stupid by contradicting himself.

I know he needs to say something, sometimes, when asked directly. For a lawyer he surprises me by saying more than he needs to.

If he just kept it zipped I wouldn't bag him, he might be great on the board and I wouldn't know.

Your negativity is noted....he has got Api and Papa for next year and he had wont be able to coach them ,2 topline players we have needed and bugger all money to buy anyone earlier thanks to Cleary...but as I said,bag a bloke who has tried to change this garbage club from the basket case it is to a club with some dignity and pride...who cares about the doco and his last 2 years may be considered a failure the first 2 were Clearys and the admins...
