It was a turning point. Madden was a target and he was run over the top of. He was also really poor with the ball in hand. His kicking was okay.
Madden was a lot lot lot worse than Brooks. Hastings and Brooks were on par and they were poor. Laurie offered next to nothing. Our forwards were smashed.
Liddle & Joe O had okay games in patches.

Technically Madden was playing 6
I think our demise came when Liddel came off, it was the same time our forwards went missing.
Brooks service from hooker has awful, Madden can't handle the big boys.
We need to try something new, maybe Nu in at 6 then Brooks at 14, heck i will even try Peachy back at 14. At least he has an x factor... just hope his brain farts aren't to costly.

Yeah easily been our best player despite your self proclaimed "devils advocate" routine all pre season...

Is Hastings injured ? Does he need time off ? When is Doueihi meant to be back ?
We need to sort out our spine. We need some forwards who aren't going to get rolled. Then we need some outside backs who have some x factor.
If we just fix those 3 areas - the spine, the forwards and the backs we are going to start winning some games.
We need to try something. Madden should be starting 7 or in reserves. Nu Brown needs to be somewhere in the team and the first grade squad.

He did get us here though. Hastings was ordinary this week.
Hastings has been really good this season but he needs support. He'll become like Brooks if he doesn't get some support. He isn't good enough to carry our team.

We’ve won 3 games, scored 4 points today and have had 8 scoreless halves. He’s doing a hell of a job,
We are a weak minded team and that comes down to individual recruits. The Tigers have to bring kids in with a different makeup, tougher backgrounds, more fighters. We can’t see it as fans but some of the players just buckle when hit hard continuously. Manly know how to beat us it’s run hard and tackle harder

I sort of agree but the player that most comes to mind that fits the bill is Seyfarth. He has ticker and he goes hard. The problem is he needs the right team and role to fit in. Twal and Seyfarth are both worker forwards.
We lack forwards who get on top of other teams like Aloiai does.
