Well Todd Payten has turned some of his players in hard lumps, eg; Robson, Hess, Drinkwater, Derdon etc

That’s nice but having arguably the best forward pack in the comp tends to help quite a bit which includes some of the best young talent in the comp. Sets quite a nice platform to work with and from.

Outside of Stef, (who had been improving till his injury), we don’t have any young talent that is likely to set the world on fire but I hope I’m wrong.

Not to mention, we’ve had 4 coaches since Sheens was sacked and not one of them have been able to get anything out of this team of soft bludgers. You can only keep blaming the coach for so long

He got off lightly and has not been equally punished for what he did. Our club can do without him.

He’s in our top 5. Standard WT practice is to let them test themselves on the open market. It’s the procedure.

I don’t want him because he bounces around between unsuccessful clubs and seems to be injured or suspended too often.

No he was scouted from a junior Fiji reps rugby league side. I'm pretty sure he was still living in Fiji at the time.

Didn't you hear? We don't need him, we have legends like Musgrove and SeyFart to carry our forwards throughout the development years.

Why would we want players who are head and shoulders above what we have when we can continue to support a culture of mediocrity?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Rorters make a play for Hastings given the concussion issues with Keary. The past is past and the club obviously has history with the Hastings.

He started well at Brisbane and then was ordinary. They were happy to cut him and they have improved significantly without him. He then did nothing for the Warriors. Not sure why you think he'd help turn this club around.

We are always in a position to pick and choose. Just coz you have hit the panic button and are now thinking that average old lodge is our saviour, well that is just plain ridiculous thinking. How many finals did he get us to when he was last here. Wait while I google it.
