It like we are tanking.. got to the halfway point and were one win off where sheens thought we needed to be.
Instead of sacking Madge on the spot, why not say hey - we are going to market for a coach next year. Finish the season off, use it to show other teams what you can do. Then go to market for a new coach. Both Bennett and Siebold finished out the year knowing they weren’t coaching the next one…
Getting rid of Mikalake and not replacing him, same with LL… if you know you aren’t signing anyone until you get a new coach why on earth are you releasing them?
Noddy outright saying we are going to have some fun and not focusing on results. Just shows the mindset that everyone has just clocked off. Noddy has no idea that his “dream” to coach an NRL side will be finished at the end of this year. He won’t win a game and will have a zero % win rate. No one’s is hiring him again.

Honestly...he is not up to it.
BUT...I have watched most of our state cup games of late and he is by FAR the best of a really, really, bad bunch of forwards down there.
I.e. we have no one else.

Pretty sad eh, he's dropped right off. A year and a half ago he looked like he could be anything.

After watching reserve grade, looks like we managed to find an even worse centre than Gildart with this guy from rugby. Another squad spot wasted for next year.
New coach has maybe 2 squad spots to work with, and that's assuming we don't re-sign Madden or Talau.

Why would you dig the boot into the supporters that want to put their hard earned in to support their team?
If you have had enough of the team then don't watch and don't contribute financially. But don't condemn those that financially help to keep the team alive over the long term.
Lodge? He is really the only one available to add some grit, but he doesn't want to be flogged every week and some on here would rather the humiliation and spoon than have him in this club.
I am sure they had a lot of fun out there today as did us supporters. I was hoping for Madge to go by round 7 but I also felt we would have a plan to replace him. This caretaker coach crap is just that. As usual a caretaker coach just puts everything back another 12 months. We should be using this time with a new coach preparing for next year. If Cameron cant make up his mind by now then get somebody who can.

The lack of planning is just bewildering… Noddy is so far out of his depth and it’s obvious. Personally I think we should give Ciraldo as much time as he needs to make a decision. Why should he rush his due diligence, or sacrifice his performance in his current role just because tigers made a snap decision about our current coach and acted quickly.
The question is who is the better option for a coach, Madge or a very unprepared Noddy. I think the obvious answer is Madge. Why did we get rid of him until we had someone better for the role?
Throwing the season away this early and so obviously hinders our search for a coach.
I agree with your assessment but I wouldn't waste time waiting for Ciraldo. I am convinced he won't be coming. I think he enjoys being courted by clubs as it strokes his ego but I'll be shocked if he leaves Penrith and totally shocked if he comes to WT. There's an outside chance he'll go to Canterbury.

Add to that the fact Tamou is clearly a yes man puppet with no mind of his own.
His default response is we trained well mixed with looking at the desk nodding his head approving of the dribble the coach churns out.
If Tamou is a leader like he continually states in pressers than I am Clive Churchill !
