LIVE GAME Weststigers v Bulldogs Rd 15 *Spoilers

Live Game Discussion
What I saw today was a disjointed football team lacking confidence, skill, leadership but most of all the tempo at which our boys played at was less than what you would see in park footy.
We completely lacked direction. No intent to hit up hard, kick and chase and put the opposition under pressure.
The bulldogs however did the opposite.
Noddy has to get this team doing the basic fundamentals of football otherwise we'll get touched up in every game from now on.
We also need to make a statement by giving the captaincy to one player. At this stage I would make that AD.
WE NEED DIRECTION. and enthusiasm.

Believing what Farah said about Potter. He said similar things about Taylor.
Mate, if you believe in something that concerns an old topic you would need to support your beliefs with something, you just can't say i heard this or i think this and that.

I supporting whats being said by naming sources and what was reported in the media, i've made an effort to discuss something by trying to be truthful as i can be.

Whats your evidence that Farah did want Potter sacked?

Lol, and Barrett walked too.

Many players have bad thoughts about their coach and may say them in secrecy that may never get heard by the public.

Yes Potter should never have been sacked.

And whether Farah was unlucky for getting caught for saying it, or if it was a heat-of-the-moment thing or he used poor judgement of words by telling someone just to get backstabbed for it, Farah is still one of the legends of this club, as is Benji, Hodgson, Richards etc.

And for the sake of the WT identiy they should always be respected and be given every opportunity to have some type of role in the club.

Excerpts
Paul Crawley from The Daily Telegraph
June 19th, 2022 7:30 pm
"Ayoub said Farah was sick of being blamed for trying to get his coach sacked."

"Asked why five weeks ago he went to Tigers chief executive Grant Mayer and asked that the players not be involved in the coaching decision, Farah said: “Because it is a distraction when players get involved in those sort of things. That is not for us to worry about."

As a playing group and senior players we spoke about it. The only way we can assure Mick’s position is to win footy games and that is what we have been trying to do and that is what we have been trying to focus on.”

As can be seen Farah did not want Potter to be sacked and he may or not have said those words but the one thing for certain here is that G.Tallis was the one stiring the pot.
Right on.
Honestly if I saw Gordon T calling the game at Leichardt I would dump whatever liquid I had on me straight on his head. Yes it's likely to be a Babies Diaper!

Gordon Tallis should be booed off every game he tries to cover. We were a strong side till he decides to play weasel journalist.

Yes, Farah got caught in a candid hop. Yes our club did not manage that well and Farah did not manage that the best. Meh, I am kind of glad to see Potter get a second chance and hey hope he goes well. He definitely has some top 8 players. It would be a tough act following Sheens as Siebold and a bunch of Broncos coaches have found it a very tough act following Wayne.

Cmon Kimmorley, lets see you put the tiger back into us.

Spot on mate. The club has written off this season and that mentality was on display from the players. Sadly, even if they try they aren’t up to it.
So I wonder how many fans/members does Our Club expect to turn up to any remaining home games scheduled for the remainder of this year?
This could turn out to be very embarrassing for WT.

You say that sarcastically I’m sure, but could you imagine back in 2011 when we were a top 4 side and had just beaten the Dragons in the first week of the semi’s and we’re told we’d still be looking for our next finals appearance in 2022.

I got howled down for saying we were on the slide back then - I didn’t think the team was playing anywhere near as good in 11 as we had in 10…
thought Ashford and Lawrence were shadows on the year before…
Got torn to bits -
Granted, I didn’t think we’d be this bad… but I’m not surprised, after that we paid a heap of kids a gazillion dollars each to keep them - leaving us with no money to buy anyone to teach them…

And hear we are!!
