Last time Tigers gave players deadlines we lost 3 of our ok players so handing Ciraldo a deadline should work out.

You forgot to add ..... On the contracts they'd had presented for months (Almost 12) and were using to actively shop themselves around.

If we do end up with Ciraldo and he wants to bring Barrett along as his assistant that would probably mean Hastings would be off elsewhere.

Could also explain why Hastings was supposedly at the meeting with CC and Sheens at the COE yesterday. Maybe CC and Barret are coming and CC wants Hastings there. Trying to smooth things over.

I'm all for getting the right man for job if he wants it, but the state of play at the moment and the timing of that in regard to giving the fan base anything to cheer about is terrible management in my opinion.

Im glad you said mostly Madge supporters,in my opinion CC MAY do a job for us or he may fail due to no REAL NRL experience,but who knows...I have steered away from some of the candidates and in my opinion Flanno with no baggage would offer a great deal as he is hard,knows the game and could lead this mob out of the doldrums we are in,but once again who knows...

Agree what bullsh#t that is... He is not doing his job if that's the case.
What organization sit back for a few months before looking into replacing the main job at the club. CC has most likely already advised him he is not coming there and he doesn't want Tigers to get him so making comments to put doubt.

Has a huge level of respect for tim sheens

Asked the club to fix a few things before he would come over and the club has done so

Really hoping it all lines up

I cant believe that WT would do anything CC or anyone else would ask them to do without there being a contract already drawn up.

yeah thats highly likely, i would assume that things are already done or are almost in place and CC might be dotting his I's and crossing his T's.

Could also explain the Brooks dropping maybe Ciraldo or whoever the coach is likely to be doesnt want Brooks and this is the first step to his exit.

Just my 2c but Maguire was dismissed because we have the coach. There is no hurry to appoint because we have him. In relation to Brooks, the new coach asked he be dropped to regain confidence as he will be retained. This is just my theory.

He does. Sometimes though I wish we would lie a bit more. We normally end up looking silly when we tell everyone our plans.

The middle ground here is probably that a portion of the fanbase has lost all faith in the club, they have no confidence in a better outcome being possible. Madge has became an avatar for this, I can say that for myself, but I wanted him sacked last year, decisively.

I can only speak for myself, I want a better outcome but have no more confidence in the club.

I've read the "posts above mine" and I definitely cannot see anything that suggests Mostly MAGUIRE Supporters are hoping for less than an optimum outcome in terms of the new coach.

If I thought Maguire was singularly to blame for the position we find ourselves in I would have had no problem with the decision, but he walked into sh@# show and we are no closer to achieving success no matter how much money we have to throw around - fortunately the cap is in better shape than when Cleary jumped. The only positive is the signing of AK and IP - two signings that no other coach has been able to pull off.
If and when the decision makers at this club show some resemblence of following through on their vision about the what the future holds for this club then I will be the first to congratulate them until then it's all fluff and empty promises.
