Wests Tigers Coaches

No idea how we'd get that deal done...

Building something special at NQ.
Will play finals for some time.

He'd be doing us a huge favour.
Only if Payten wants the challenge. And if Woolfe and North Queensland want to strike up a deal back home.

I don’t care who it is ….. but we need appointment to be made next week.
We need our roster to be upgraded …. that’s our priority.
Payton would be good of course (but unlikely) ….. but someone with reputation from the Cronk, Slater, Smith, Johns brothers brigade would be my targets.

So what is everyones thought on Woolfe ?
I looked at his coaching record in the ESL and its not bad.
I don't know much about him but is he worth a go?

This is horribly embarrassing and shows how inept our management is. To those who thought this club had it all sorted before sacking Madge is delusional. The need to play this all out in the media as well? Why?
Yep, I just knew the board forced Sheens to sack Madge.
What is wrong with these people? Are they living in a parallel universe? 😂

This club is ridiculous why would you put out a statement saying you have missed your number 1 target and why would your number 1 target even be public knowledge to every 1 look at nz warriors today news came out that wolf has knocked them back he was clearly there number 1 target but it doesn’t look half as bad because it’s not common knowledge

This club does so many things that make us fans shake our heads and wonder what the he’ll is going on at this place imagine actually going to 1 of there meeting they must be so clueless

I feel sorry for sheens this job may well take years off his life

Hes experienced and positioned himself where he doesn't give a shit

From Joel Caine on SEN:

Speaking on SEN’s NRL Crunch Time, Caine mentioned the continual rumourmongering that has seen names like Cameron Ciraldo linked to the role.

“I’ve got an open letter to the Wests Tigers. ‘Dear Wests Tigers, it appears as though (Cameron) Ciraldo is not going to be the one. Whoever is going to be the one, let's challenge ourselves just to announce the coach. Get all your due diligence done behind the scenes where no one is talking about it, let’s zip our lips up and prove to people that we’re not the loose lips ship in this competition,” he said.

“The challenge is to do all the homework, decide upon the coach and announce the coach without everyone talking about it.

“Please, just do it.”

Michael Maguire was sacked after 80 games at the helm of the Tigers, where he won just 29 clashes and has been replaced on an interim basis by the prior Pathways Coaching Manager Brett Kimmorley.

Caine was critical of the professionalism at the Tigers when compared to how other clubs may go about the same situation.

“The Melbourne Storm would just come out and you wouldn’t have heard a squeak about it and they would’ve announced their coach, the Sydney Roosters would do the same,” he said.

“Wests Tigers please, just this once, tighten up the lips, show the world that you don’t have to share everything with the media, please, just for once, can we do that.”
Joel Caine for CEO!

Who cares, Cameron Ciraldo can kiss our collective arse.

There are plenty of other coaching options out there.

However maybe keep the talks confidential and don't have either party leaking to the rugby league "journalists".

You should be back on the dopey dogs forum

Would any half decent coach want to come to us. Look how this has played out. Then Sheens says we need to start again with developing our Harold Matt’s and sg ball players who won’t be ready for at least 3 years. Then they sack you because you haven’t results. We just go around in 3 circles. But the good thing is we have Pascoe and Lee.

In a sense Ur right and I agree with you, the thing that keeps getting overlooked though is as a coach no matter who or what quality of player I have it's my job to make them better, something Madge imo wasn't doing, there was Stefano he's the only one I can honestly say improved under Maguire the rest of the players seemed to go backwards, a good coach should be able to create a good team we were going backwards.
As I’ve said in the past. Madge has an interest in developing players, but doesn’t have the time for those that don’t want to develop themselves…

I reckon that even the Madge haters and they know who they are, were wetting their pants that he is gone.....but gee, since he has gone we have been flogged, players leaving and we got knocked back by a rookie coach touted to be the next Bellamy....I wonder how they are feeling now with a game coming up in NZ the first home game there in 2 years and low and behold the sacked coach is coaching the NZ international team so he could get some insight of players coming available for NRL..
Should of left Madge see out his contract and keep looking out for the right replacement when his tenure was up...now we have an interim,no back up plan for a coach and the panic button has been pushed several times by several people...
Madge was beaten by the bogus claim"its a results driven game",but you have to have a club admin and team to get the right results....thats where it all failed....Madge cant be blamed alone...I hope some of you realise maybe getting Sheens back from the retirement home wasnt such a good idea, the board needs a real good look at itself because it is also to blame for our decade of garbage...
Ditto, but I can’t be too hard on Sheens. He was forced to support the sacking of Madge.

Chammas on 9 saying this afternoon ciraldo called his manager then called Justin Pascoe to knock back the 5 year deal he wanted. Wants to develop more before becoming a head coach
