Why would management let leak details of their 1st choice preference and 5 yr deals on big money . Then if that falls through what do you say to your next candidate ? Sorry your only our 2nd or 3rd preference and here's a 2 year deal on less money etc .where's the basic business negotiation common sense?

Bryce Gibbs has mentioned some stuff on twitter that is a good read, has won a premiership with the club has played with Toddy P and Morris and under Tim sheens, bloke has also seen the runnings of the wests tigers and has played under Flanagan.

So in your opinion mate no one deserves a second chance to see if they have reformed ??
He could very well be just what we need...I mean we were prepared to give an NRL assistant coach 5 years and a heap of money with no NRL experience,but put a line through a proven NRL level coach who made a mistake but paid the penalty....just saying...

He was given a second chance and messed that up to, on top of that he has proven he doesn't accept responsibility for his actions as he broke his suspension and got himself deregistered. If he had of shown any level of accepting responsibility for his action then I may not be as firm on this. By accepting ne responsibility then he is not worth the risk in my opinion.

As usual we lived up to our reputation as the most amateurish inept buisness organisation in the NRL, they have stupidly made whoever we get feel like you'll do we can't get anyone else

And I suppose he’s in a good position to judge payten and Morris having played with both of them.

I miss players like Gibbs on our earlier teams ! Just a good solid tough player happy to do the hard yards and give or take a belting. Solid !
