360 adamant WT leaked Brooks would be dropped but claimed we reverse decision as they are paranoid about all the bad press we get.

Brooks has never had a decent pack around him , if he was at Melb or similar he would be a star , Cleary had him going very well and then Madge arrived and Brooks has had 3 goods games in three years , it’s the coaches instructions that could well be the issue , and I do like our new 9. This week could make a huge difference for brooks and hastings Tigers to win

Now the headline reads "tigers made a mistake by announcing to everyone last week that we were going to drop Brooks but we took the soft option of not doing it." When in fact, we vehemently denied all reportd.
Seriously the 360 guys literally talk out of their arses. I wonder if there is a direct line from the sewerage at FoxSports to the press because that's what it sounds like in the media.

Willie Mason was a PR thing because everyone thought he was a goose. Nothing to do with him as a player. People want to get rid of Brooks because they think he kicks the ball out on the full too much for their liking. Two different things brah, but you tried your best.
