i listened closely to the commentating during todays game...and the fella who was with Flanno in the box kept saying what a good opportunity at the WTs for an experienced coach..

maybe he was dropping a hint....

Flanno was also trying to be encouraging until the end when it became clear we are still the same basket case. Probably withdrew his interest tonight.

I didn't hear that once... But I heard flanno talking the game up like it was a semi final quality which it wasnt

He spoke highly of our boys in the first 30 mins and what a great effort they piut in...the other bloke said that they need an experienced coach...

This would be the best result, whoever it is needs to start tapping blokes on the shoulder and try to con others to come

I have had many a conversation with this poster...he is a person who loves this forum and the game ...you for all I can see is a negative wannabee with no real knowledge of the game...prove me wrong keyboard warrior...

Honestly don’t think Cloudy knows anything and would have all of us believe he’s Sheens’ smoking gun…

IMO, that is kinda sad and also there’s a basis for my assumption in fact due to the appalling strike rate?

We definitely spoke to Flanno briefly due to Morris stalling on the offer. You’re telling me you don’t believe Paul Greens mgmt has reached out to the Tigers or that Woolfe is only at Zoom/Skype level interest?

It’s going to be Flanagan, Morris or someone new. Payten literally has a contract for a top 4 team…

Sheens - like Pascoe - is making decisions (and announcements) all under the directive of the board - who in turn also act on behalf of the club's stakeholders.

This was all Sheens idea though. If he went to the board and said don't sack Madge he isn't the problem and we need a better roster Madge would have been retained.

Same as letting Luc go.

We'd be in a bad position but not this bad.

I remember smoking gun. He was hit and miss. I hope he keeps posting but you take it with a grain of salt.

To be fair I think (and I could be wrong) he has more inside information than other posters who state they have inside information.

Don’t know about you, but I’m seeing more speculation as to which coach will not be joining us as to who will be.

A coaching headcount on this most honourable thread, seems to only leave us with a coach who isn’t born yet.

Still, you can’t be born like other coaches to take the reigns here.

I’m almost for some kind of human sacrifice to the dark lord, but the devil himself hates us too at the moment.

This has to be the lowest point for me as a fan and unfortunately it is going to get a lot worse in the next 4 weeks with Panther, Eels, Cowboys and Broncos ahead. . Wooden Spoon is 99.9% ours as this is just embarrassing now...

We MUST get this coach sorted this week so the players know who it is and we can start recruiting. I understand that Sheen's cannot come out and give updates to at least give us some good news but surely they know the pain we are going through.

Agree to that ….. we just need to be patient but our recruiters can’t sit on their hands for too much longer.
This year is a wipe out.
