Joe Ofahengaue #240

Our best and most consistent player this year and imho its not even close. He is one player that tries every week.I certainly hope he stays long term because we need him to help dig us out of the chasm that inept management have put us in.

Great defensive effort well over 50 tackles but yesterday the whole team defended well yesterday they had all the ball and 1 try in middle bad miss by kelma who then gave 5th tackle penalty away .I just wish offa didn't die with the ball on the 5th tackle ,he did that 5 times. The other 2 tries were undiffused bombs on maumalo side

Not sure about that?
He would be on less than Nofa.

Nofo is on realistically 500k. I think Joe O would be on that or more as well. He came from Brisbane and he was on a decent income. He also extended his contract for next season. I assume no one offered him more than what he is currently on.

The only reason I state move him on as we will have that kid coming through in the lock position and he isn't a big prop forward. If he was on 300k which is an average NRL salary then the situation may be different.

Nofo is pretty good. Sure defensively he gets caught out and he can get caught out under the high ball but he finishes plenty of tries and he is great at kick returns. We overpaid Nofo as well but he is a first grader and it's his last contract.

Out the door end of season.
Dolphins recruit.

Played well the other night, nothing special.
Another that doesn't care.
Not worth discussing.

He is here next year…..

58 tackles and 130mtrs is hardly a sign of not caring. He is the only forward who is having a dig. If the other forwards played to his level things might be abit different.

I think nofo does all you can expect ,he diffused all bombs his way, makes good meters hitting up from our end . Note zero tries against on his side and same last match. He can finish if given even a slight chance eg against dogs .However with everyone crabbing across field he is not getting even one decent pass . Note Maumalo couldn't diffuse his bombs

I agree. Ken is pretty good under the high ball though. Sometimes it's a lottery.
