Wests Tigers Coaches

Might as well bring back Roy Masters and the Lidcombe Oval Dressing room slapping about.
Some of our current forwards would not be able to deal with such hits.

Poor Tommy Raudonikis and John Dallas Donnelly would be turning in their graves watching this pile of rubble represent the once mighty jersey.

This is starting to get weird. Sheens broke up a team that were the last real lot of players that the fans could be proud of. The first player that he axes comes out and supports him, as does one of the senior players who Sheens suggested got him sacked.
Too much nostalgia not sure it will translate to the here and now.

How do you know it was sheens?

No I'm saying people are overreacting and being impatient. Stop falling for it all.
There was an article that listed basically every coach available as potentials. This is background work or crisis management from the club.
I can hardly wait to see the head explosions on this site when the new coach is announced. For some so called supporters of the Westst whoever is selected will: not be good enough, too young, too old, bad reputation, someones pet etc, etc. Boy will it be interesting..

That's the issue Lauren. There's lots of criticism and guesswork but the club has made no announcement. Its smacks of professionalism with not an ebb or flow to be sighted.
Professionalism? This situation rather smacks of desperation and naivety - telling everybody we wanted to sign a 'development coach', and all but confirming that person was Ciraldo. Then failing miserably to get him over the line (and more or less being forced to make a formal announcement of this) with what appears to be no back up plan whatsoever.

Funny no mention that Gibbs had chronic leg problems.
Blair we all wanted at the time
Fifita had an attitude problem
and Humphrey fk d our cap.

Bryce was included with Fifita in a package deal to fit in Adam Blair. If Sheens wanted Gibbs he would not have been moved on he had
two years to go on a three year deal I believe.

Who to say sheens was 100 percent behind blaire Signing.

I've heard club members were re-signing players without Potter knowledge back then.

The club went all in on ciraldo didn't get him that's life.

Feedback from ciraldo himself was an experienced coach is required for the pain the coming from Maguire squad.

So if most people are saying at the moment we need an experienced coach who better than sheens?

He'd be in to steer the ship for next two years and during that time have an off sider like souths did with Wayne and the souths coach now.

I think that's the model we should go.

The club has made no announcement. The criticism and guesswork is premature, Plenty of time to whinge later when the coach is appointed.

I suppose the question that needs to be asked is would players want to play under Sheensy as opposed to all the other coaches mentioned. There is no doubt he is a master at bringing through the juniors. History says he is arguably the best. If I was a modern day player I know who I would love to learn from. He has my vote if he is up for it.
