Apart from the Brooks nepotism I think it's a bad idea playing Matamua in NRL this early. I thought he struggled with controlling the ruck at NSW Cup level.

I'm a huge Matamua fan but I think it's just too early for him.

I like that team a lot. I'd prefer Doueihi at 6 but he should prove himself rather than be given the job.

Matamua in and 3 props plus a dummy half replacement on the bench.

I'd play Roberts ahead of him if we wanted an experienced option, or Kepaoa or even Tupou if we were willing to throw kids into the fire (which we appear to be with Pole and now Matamua).

The hooker situation is confusing as well.

Decision making process is all over the shop, which is obviously a consequence of not having someone employed to make decisions.

Selections and overall future of players is up in the air till they appoint the coach. Noddy is just the lunch boy whose been put in charge till then. He can’t and won’t do anything significant.
