Andrew Webster to coach the Warriors

A bad or good decision for the Warriors?

Yes the Warriors need a fundamentals coach. Though they tend to get better talent pool then us, or at least in the forwards.
What do people think?

Can't blame the guy for having a crack....
Realistically, He's not getting one anywhere else, anytime soon...

More experienced coaches with Better squads have come up short there - I can't see anything being any different any time soon.

Unsure if it will be a failure.

Unlike the Tigers, the Warriors have some pretty good cattle and signings.

The problem will be working with the culture and players, he has been there before. So probably can do "something" there.

We have seen Stephen Kearney's vision of a fantastic team fail there. We have seen Ivan and Todd Payten have success there. Ofcourse many have failed and failed because they don't get the culture or the players.

If Webster can copy a little Cleary, he will do ok. The key will be if the players get energized or go lazy. Because he has been there before he knows and they know what he is like.

Now here is what I find Funny.

The assumption with Panthers has been:
Cleary = Good/Great Coach.
Ciraldo = Next Cleary (or maybe the man proping up Cleary's coaching.)

So what's Andrew Webster?

I honestly want to ask. Why the assumption that Ciraldo is the main engine at Penrith? Why not Webster ? (No insight at all). Our team was a stack better in the Taylor/Potter days.
My guess is if both Ciraldo and Webster leave Penrith then the motor will start running flat. Cleary isn't a details coach and he definately can't make good signing decisions. Although there should be a fair supply of Ex Nrl out there looking for work...

Anyway good luck to the Warriors. The only bit of Confidence I have is that Woolfe appears to be their NR1 target and they missed out.
