Isaiah Papali’i #265

These things always start somewhere. Just like when Ivan, Matterson, Aloiai etc left. Last year was the first season in 3 years we didn’t have a player or offical walk out on the club at the end of the season.

Club must stand its ground. We've released players knowing he has signed! I'm sure just media bull**** once again.

This was him quoted 2 weeks ago:

Mate - What Media Bullshit about us in the last 12 months has turned out to be Media Bullshit?

Don't know what to think, as the article published a fortnight back contained direct quotes from him:
"It's a massive challenge. There's no hiding that," he said.
"But to be able to be a part of something, starting from the ground up, is something that I'll be proud of."
"Parra is a good club and they have a lot to offer so I want to make sure that I'm not just learning on the field but also off it, so I can take that elsewhere when I do jump in that Tigers system.
"I want to make sure that I look after myself first and then hopefully have people around me (at the Tigers) who will jump on the same boat."

However this is the Wests Tigers we're talking about and it's always been, only at/could the Wests Tigers.....
Hope the Board and Powerbrokers are feeling the heat because as a supporter it sucks to continue to feel disappointment from their lack of foresight.
Stand firm on him?
He signed to play under Madge and I think it's embarrassing if that's the only way we can secure a player - hold them ransom to their contract.
It's a wonder why supporters are losing faith in the club.

I had my doubts too when I saw it, but once you let the idea foment and you remember the club we’re dealing with, it’s always plausible that we are going to get screwed over again.
