I’m thinking this lot will all depart at season end
Liddell , Roberts , Garner , Kel , Tamou , Madden , Simpkin , Simpkins , Gildart , , plus another 5 or 6 Across the top 3 grades , gee we will need to get the chq book out and fast , I think 15 in total

Nearly all of those will not be missed,for whatever reason most have not developed to FG standard or probably ever will

That's why we needed a new experienced coach as soon as possible to sort out the new heavy recruitment work.

Simpkin, Simpkins, Gildart and Liddle are all under contract for next year.

They won't be going anywhere unless they're picked up elsewhere. There is limited spots for '23, 6 or so from memory.

There are limited players on the market as well. We need juniors and players not getting opportunities in first grade at other clubs. There will be some good players that are in that situation.

Putting Hastings at lock is insanity just rip the Band-Aid off put brooks in reserve grade and give Hastings and doughi a go what do we have to loose?

Yeah but Hastings is a far better half then brooks why not just leave him in his best position and try doughi next to him to see how it goes?

I can see what there trying to do with haveing Jackson control the middle then give early ball to dooie or brooks depending witch side has more space

I just feel brookses kicking game isn’t up to as a half back and it’s been 250 games we can clearly see he isn’t going to be successful for us so why do persist to pick him every week

I would say Brooks is never going to play centre, but I remember Lawrence playing 6, Anasta playing 7 and Danny Galea playing prop so anything is possible.

If Brooks started out as hooker in juniors all the way through to NRL and stayed there, I reckon he would be a rep player.
